Worked great first time. Chocolate wasn’t steaming hot and didn’t have to wait too long to drink. Smooth and creamy taste and easy to clean afterwards. The stirrer inside holds to the bottom with a magnet so it was easy to remove and clean and the inside surface was accessible to wipe down. Might be a little over priced for what it does and haven’t figured out if I always need to purchase the chocolate packets from them because they’re also pricey but really good tasting.

Easy to clean. Doesn't burn the milk to the bottom so everyone can have one before you have to clean it. Better than the instant brand.

This is totally an indulgence item but it delivers! Easy to put in the ingredients and the result is a fabulous hot chocolate that will make anything else seem ‘whatever’. Easy to clean as well because it comes apart with no issues.

This was a gift my husband got me for Christmas. It's so smooth and the best hot chocolate I've had. It saves me time and $ making it at home. Definitely for someone who loves hot chocolate.

Makes great hot chocolate but the amount it makes is an issue. It barely makes 3/4 (normal) mug of hot chocolate.

Bought this for my son who doesn’t drink coffee. He absolutely loves that he can make quality hot chocolate in his dorm. Great for those cold snowy days! The chocolate is a little pricey, but way cheaper than at coffee chain. Fast, easy to use and easy to clean.

Bought this in deepest darkest second lockdown or something along these lines. It had been a while since I had bought a hot chocolate from the Hotel Chocolate bricks and mortar shop (close to the office), and my thinking up to that point had been, no way am I spending around £100 on a dedicated hot chocolate kettle when a pan and whisk will almost do the same job. But then I gave in and yeah it does a way better job than pan and whisk. Easy to clean (so long as you do it pretty soon after), smooth texture, perfect temperature, fast results. The only problem is that if you are wanting to make hot chocolate for .. lets say 3 people you have to do it one serving at a time, and that means the first person will either have no hot chocolate or almost completely cool chocolate by the time the last person is able to drink theirs. The instructions say that you can use whatever milk you want or even spring water. So you can use almond milk with the hazelnut sachet if you want something a bit nuts, or you can use bottled water and 70% cocoa if despite buying this gadget you are adverse to feeling joy. There is also a min and max fill line. I assume the min fill line is for if you want the rest of the drink to be coffee, that's how I used it but I don't recall it being said in instructions. Ultimately this gadget didn't get used twice then tidied into a cupboard and mostly forgotten about like certain other kitchen gadgets. I have actually used it almost as much as the toaster since I got it, but I don't buy that much bread. I do still kind of feel like it is an expensive single use gadget, but it is a treat and remains a treat.

I am now addicted to hot chocolate. Easy to use, clean & store. Cups a perfect size. Ready very quickly. I have recently discovered adding a small drop of something alcoholic enhances the whole hot chocolate experience

I purchased the Velvetiser package as a present for my son and daughter in law. They love it as the hot chocolate is so creamy and smooth and will be ideal in the cooler months.

Although the Velvetiser arrived with the mugs it didn’t include the samples sachets that were advertised very disappointing
