Weiler 44026 Heavy Duty Deck Scrub Brush with Natural Palmyra Bristles for Wooden Decks, Conrete Patios, and Other Rough Surfaces

Used this brush to scrub concrete before sealing. The size was perfect and cleaning effectiveness made the job easy. The durability allows me to save it for many more uses.

Fair price. Exactly what I was looking for with solid wood and natural bristles. Used with Rubbermaid wooden handle sold on Amazon. Perfect fit. Will last a long time.

In the past I have used Harper Palymyra Deck Scrubs in a similar size - but when I had trouble locating a Harper this time for the right price, I decided to give this one a try. I was able to get this Weiler for just over $5 here on Amazon, where the Harper of similar size I could not find under $10. The quality of this brush is very good - not quite on par with the Harper version, but for the money it is good enough and I would have no trouble recommending it. The bristles are well mounted, and don't fall out readily like so many other cheaply made palmyras; plus, the wood block is well made and sturdy, and should last as long as the brush does at least. This brush has two connectors - one threaded (standard size, all my handles fit) and a tapered one also - which also fits the handles I own so I would say the size is fairly standard. I used this on my cool deck and rough concrete and they worked very well - the bristles were the right stiffness and held up well when scrubbing. Many times, cheaper palmyra bristles are weak and will bend / flex too much when scrubbing, resulting in the bristles not penetrating well into the grooves and rougher surfaces. The Weiler bristles are a good stiffness. Again, it is not quite the same level / quality of the Harper equivalent, but for half the price I am satisfied. Thanks for reading!

Great natural bristle brush! Should work perfectly for the job at hand which is a texturized deck. The handle screwed in relatively deep and fit snugly.

Similar to the ones I used in the military. I bought these for wooden mats that I built for our back door. It seemed to be the perfect addition to the wooden slated mat, as one can stand and get the loose leaves and dirt from the bottoms of their shoes, and wipe off the remainder residue on the slated mat. Seems to work great now, time will tell how long the brush holds up to the constant brushing of shoes and boots. So far the bristles are holding up to the abuse, and the brush itseld seems well made. As a scrub brush it will take a screw in handle as well as a slick handle with no problems. A great buy!
