what is better value for money this or tablets ?

I don't know about better value but this oil is sunflower oil which is bad for you so wouldn't buy it again. I prefer the tablets anyway.

How many iu per drop? Not stated...

According to the label, the recommended dosage is 0.5ml (for 2500 IU), and the dropper is clearly calibrated with a fill line at 0.5ml, so I'm not really sure why the number of "IU per drop" would matter? 🤔 However, I suppose that you could see how many drops 0.5ml gives you, and then just divide 2500 by that to calculate the amount.

Does it have to be kept in the fridge?

It has to be stored in the fridge after opening. Until then it is fine kept unopened at room temperature. That is what the label tells you to do, I have just read the label on mine because I was recommending it to someone.
