Good palm jaggery powder. Ease of use is great because or else the block of palm jaggery is too difficult to handle. Smells, tastes and looks like authentic palm jaggery.

Quality of taste, colour and smell of the product is good. The texture is also good, though it hardens in jar. I hope it is original palm jaggery.

The initial product quality over the last couple of years were fantastic. The previous batches used to have a rich caramel brown color and used to form clusters of coarse particles which is quite normal for pure palm jaggery. But lately the colour and texture is noticeably lighter and finer. The authenticity of the current batch is questionable. It doesn’t feel premium anymore. I come from a household that uses blocks of palm jaggery since 20 years or so and I normally bake cakes for my clients with it. I’m a fan of Urban Platter products, but this one unfortunately is a disappointment.
