Body Badalada Body Lotion for Dry Skin | Body Lotion for Women

**Update to my original review (Now 5/12/2026)** I wanted to include my experience with the Sol de Janeiro Body Badalada Body Lotion in the green bottle, which is the Moisture Melting lotion. This lotion is much thicker than the yellow bottle of the Sol de Janeiro lotion. I LOVE that the Sol de Janeiro Moisture Melting lotion smells of the scent of the beloved Cheirosa '39 fragrance. It smells so delicious, and the moisture and scent lasts for hours. My skin feels deeply nourished, soft, supple and has a lovely glow-after applying a fairly small amount to my skin. I love pairing this lotion with my Cheirosa '39 body mist, as I included in my new photos. *Please note that I just included the photo with the lotion and body spray, to show how I like to use this lotion to layer my fragrances. The body spray was not included, just for clarification.* Both of these Sol de Janeiro Body Badalada body lotions are fantastic, and provide amazing hydration and softness to my skin. I love the way these lotions work in different ways, and that the textures are different-however the moisture is still excellent. The scents of both of these lotions are devine and delicious smelling; I HIGHLY recommend both of these products!! Treat yourself!! 💖💖💖💖 I absolutely love Sol de Janeiro products, and had recently come across this Sol de Janeiro Body Badalada body lotion. I decided to treat myself, and bought it. First off, I want to say I really appreciate that this product was sealed and was protected well. I hate it when a body care products comes unsealed, or (worse yet) spilled everywhere. So, it was really appreciated that extra measures were taken to make sure this bottle arrived safely to me. This is a decent sized bottle of lotion, and has a unique shape. I like that even though it's a larger bottle, it can sit various spaces because of the compact shape of the bottle. Also, the push-pump top works very well to dispense the amount of lotion I want to use. I feel there's less mess, and less waste by using the pump (at least with this product). This lotion is a little different that what I expected; it has a thinner consistency than other lotions or creams I've used. The only other body lotion I've used by Sol de Janeiro was the bum bum cream; this lotion is much thinner in consistency to tbat. This lotion is unique, though, because even though it's thinner in consistency-it absorbs very well, and feels very nourishing to my skin. No greasy residue, and it also smells amazing! The scent of this body lotion is that of the Cheirosa '62, which is a classic favorite scent of mine by SDJ. The scent lasts for hours as well as the hydration, and is a great base for layering my fragrances with. I'm satisfied with this lotion, and I love how soft my skin feels after using this. I also love that it doesn't take a long time to absorb, and feels very moisturizing. My skin seems to have a nice glow after using this product, and I love how it feels overall. I think this is a great product, and I'd love to order some of the other scents in this line of body lotions by Sol de Janeiro. Very nice, and I'd recommend it!

**⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Sol de Janeiro Brazilian Bum Bum Cream (or Body Badalada Lotion) – Absolute Obsession!** I don’t know how I lived without this in my life, but Sol de Janeiro has officially ruined all other body lotions for me. This stuff is pure vacation in a jar (or pump bottle). From the second I slather it on, I’m transported straight to a sunny Brazilian beach – that iconic **Cheirosa 62** scent is everything. Warm pistachio, salted caramel, and vanilla that wraps you in the coziest, most delicious hug without ever being overpowering. It’s sweet, addictive, and lingers beautifully for hours. People literally stop me to ask what I’m wearing. The texture? Chef’s kiss. It’s rich and creamy but absorbs crazy fast without any greasy residue. My skin feels instantly soft, deeply hydrated, and actually looks glowier and smoother after just a few days. I’ve got dry patches that usually fight back, but this tames them like magic. After consistent use, my skin feels firmer, silkier, and way more nourished – it’s like a spa treatment every single shower. A little goes a seriously long way, so the big jar lasts forever even though I’m generous with it (because why wouldn’t I be?). The scent mixes amazingly with their matching mist too for that full head-to-toe experience. If you want skin that feels expensive and smells like dessert, stop whatever you’re doing and add this to your cart. It’s worth every penny and then some. Lotion is much thinner & lighter than I prefer, but absorbs quickly and leaves skin feeling soft and smooth, not greasy. Was only going to rate 4 stars, but giving 5 stars because scent is long lasting and ABSOLUTELY amazing!!!

Love this lotion! It has the best smell ever! It’s like a roasted chestnut or praline scent that I can’t quite put my finger on but it’s amazing! I got the „moisture melting“ blue version and it’s not overly heavy, which I was worried about. It absorbs pretty quickly into the skin actually! It IS very expensive but I think it’s worth the money imo! You do get a really big bottle too! It leaves my skin feeling soft and moisturized! I would def recommend this if you need some extra hydration!

I bought this lotion in January and have been using it every single day since. It has completely exceeded my expectations. Pros: - Long-Lasting Value: A little bit of this product goes a very long way. Even with daily use for over six months, I still have product left in the bottle. - Superior Moisture: It hydrates deeply and leaves my skin feeling noticeably soft and moisturized all day. - Great Fragrance: The scent is wonderful, noticeable without being overpowering, and smells amazing throughout the day. Cons: - Rich Formula: Because the lotion is so rich and concentrated, taking too much at once can take an extra moment to rub in fully. Bottom Line: An absolute daily favorite that offers incredible value, deep moisture, and a great scent. Highly recommended!

I’ve been really impressed with this body lotion! It absorbs quickly without feeling greasy and leaves my skin soft and hydrated all day. The scent is warm, tropical, and long-lasting without being overpowering. A little goes a long way, so the bottle lasts longer than expected. It’s become part of my daily routine, and I always get compliments on how good it smells. Definitely worth trying if you’re looking for a moisturizing lotion with an amazing fragrance!

Smells good, feels good on the skin and for being perfumed based it’s really not bad on sensitive skin and it’s super moisturising.

No Idea why this product says it's a lotion for women, I'm male and I've had no adverse reaction to it due to my gender. So moving on..... I use this as a 'body serum' and I think that is the prefect description, and as a body serum it is very well priced, it smells fantastic too. Very hydrating and quickly absorbed, easy to layer under a richer moisturiser if you choose. Even without reaching for the Bum Bum Cream, the fragrance of this lotion on its own is quite long lasting at 3 - 4 hours. Lovely product!

Schöner Duft und leichte Textur Ich liebe die leichte Textur und den traumhaften Duft – die Lotion klebt überhaupt nicht. Für meinen Oberkörper nutze ich sie sehr gerne, allerdings reicht die Pflegewirkung für meine sehr trockenen Beine nicht ganz aus.
