Would this be appropriate for a 22 month old?

Yes the only thing that I would say that would be difficult is putting the lid back on the container, but the pieces are not small enough to swallow or anything. My four year old was three at the time I brought them and she was fine with it

Hi, they are about the size of the palm of your hand. Are very nice and easy to hold. My granddaughter loved this set!!!!!! Worth the money. Enjoy!!!!!!

I can't say it does. My granddaughter got a kitchen play center with an oven and it fit in there. She liked serving the "cookies" on a plate with a cup of "coffee". This was a beautiful set and she loved it!!!!!

Really cute christmas toy. My 3 year old has been playing with it for 2 hours straight. We have the non christmas version of this toy from this brand, Melissa And Doug, too and it's held up perfect for over a year now with lots of play. Velcro all still sticky and not coming loose.

My nearly 2 year old son loves the oven mitt. It’s his favourite. My daughter (nearly 6) also loves to bake the cookies so they play together with this toy. Definitely loves by both my kids.

It’s a very cute cookie set, good for little one’s imagination however the pictures on the cookies scratch so easy! My 2 year old and I play this together and we are not rough, we use the toy spatula and toy oven mit. So that’s disappointing.
