Be aware, there are only three pockets.
I bought these pants for hunting, not skiing. The green color of the pants matches the pictures well. The pants are sturdy and warm. The belt is flimsy, but I expected to use on of my usual belts instead. My issue is the number of pockets....there are only three. I guess I didn't look at the pictures close enough. When I glanced at the pics, I thought there were two pockets on the rear and two above the knees like my other outdoor pants. Nope, there's only one rear pocket, two side waist pockets and no leg pockets. If you only need two pockets, you should like these pants.

Conflicted
So here's the scoop. I have given a favorable 4 stars based on what I deemed initial product quality. I loved the comfort and fit of these pants. Cannot attest to the waterproof nature, since I never had the chance to test that out. Why? because I had to return them due to the excessive length. I am a failry fit 5'9" with a 32" waste. Therefore the medium was a perfect fit. However, they must have somewhere in the range of a 34" inseam. With no shoes, they were under my heals. Depending on the thickness of the heal of my shoes, they were anywhere from just above the gorund, to touching it. And if teh shoe was tall enough, there was an excess of fabric bunched up around my ankles, making them seem almost cumbersome. I really wanted these to work because they felt really nice on. However, the excessive length was just too much for me to overlook. Returned and will try another brand.

Great Pants but missing at least one Pocket
These pants are comfortable, warm and waterproof. I'd easily give them 5-stars if they had a phone pocket. This is 2024 and 99.9999% of the people purchasing these will need a place to put there phone. In my opinion that place should be on the side of the hip.

So far, so great!
Mushroom forager / Motorcycle rider I have been using old torn jeans with thermals underneath as my go-to foraging pants. No more! I also mostly ride my motorcycle to where I forage so having a thicker pair of pants is great, and I'm oftentimes going on deer trails so I'm constantly up against twigs, branches, thorns, etc. Didn't feel any cold air on my legs while riding to the spot (55F outside), and they were plenty warm both on and off the motorcycle. It was 55-60F today (maybe 63-65F in the sun?). The fleece liner is a must for chillier days like today. The non-fleece lined pants they sell feel too thin. Anyways, loving the pants so far : )
