Long, but thorough review for those concerned about heavy-metals. Summary: they test regularly for heavy metals, dissolves thoroughly, no grit and no after taste. Been taking collagen for about a year. Initially started with this product, then switched to Sports Research, then Alaya, and back again to Nature's Plus. With all the chatter about lead (heavy metals), microplastics etc., I felt doomed in my search for a clean - or at least cleaner - product. Via email, I contacted the companies about heavy metals and the only company to respond was Nature's Plus, which doesn't surprise me. As for quality and taste, there's no grit, nor after taste with this collagen, and it dissolves completely in hot coffee, but unlike the other brands, this does seem to re-coagulate as coffee cools (though still warm), it becomes a sort of "glop" that can be difficult to swallow if you're sensitive to textures. I’ve used this product consistently now for more than six months. While I haven’t scientifically measured it’s affects, I feel like my skin tone and appearance have improved. Additionally, I am seeing other benefits with joints and hair. I put it in my coffee in the morning. It mixes easily without taste. I’ve researched these types of products and have found this one to be one of the cleanest and a good choice.

Seemed to make my skin a bit thicker, which is a good thing for an oldie like me because thin skin wrinkles….anyway around month 5 i noticed some foam or bubbles in the toilet bowl after peeing, googled it, they say i could be taking in too much protein and it shows up in your urine, so now i am only taking Monday, Wed and Friday, only slight bubbles on those days. Thinking it still helps my facial skin taking the 3 days a week

This product is very good for the joints (reduces pain), great for hair, nails and generally, the nervous system. I take it twise daily.

Product is fine, but I didn't pay attention to the size and paid too much for it. Was 15$ less the will after I ordered. I should be refunded

Excellent collagen. My teenage son has taken to using it aswell! Some drinks you can taste it in but other ones, hardly at all. I have it in my evening cocoa.
