Works great for my application

used it to pump water out of the base of a basketball net for winter so it didn't freeze and crack the base. very basic use of course, but I also have it as a backup should my sump pump fail and I need something quick while I replace it.

Great pump as long as you take care of it. Of course if you pump anything other than clean water its a good idea to flush it

I had two 25’ hoses, one on each end, but the output was only sputtering. I had an idea, verified it on Google, that it’s harder for waterpumps to suck than push. So I used an old hose and cut it to 6’ for the input, leaving the 25’ hose on the output. Flows like a river now. Also, it’s easier for the pump to push water up at an angle rather than straight up. The pool level is low enough where the pump is in the shallow end so that the water flows up from the deep end to the shallow end, then out the pool.
