MaxxHaul 70032 1-1/4 inch to 2 inch Trailer Hitch Receiver Adapter / Extension

Reviews are subjective—what impresses me might seem average to someone else. Most of my ratings are four stars when a product works as expected but is not anything special. For a five-star rating, a product has to truly stand out. In the end, this is just my opinion—your experience may vary. I purchased the MaxxHaul 70032 1-1/4" to 2" Trailer Hitch Receiver Adapter through Amazon, and even though I unfortunately had to return it due to fitment issues on my tractor receiver, I still feel this adapter deserves a solid five-star review. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ The problem was not with the product itself — the hitch holes on my particular tractor simply did not line up correctly with the adapter. If it had fit, I absolutely would have kept it. Right out of the box, this adapter felt very well made. The steel construction is heavy-duty, the black powder-coated finish looks durable, and it definitely gives the impression that it can handle years of use with bike racks, cargo carriers, or other hitch-mounted accessories. The added extension length is also a nice bonus for extra bumper clearance. I especially liked that this adapter did not feel cheaply made or flimsy like some lower-priced hitch accessories I’ve tried in the past. The build quality honestly exceeded my expectations for the price point. 👍 If you need a 1-1/4" to 2" hitch receiver adapter for a car, SUV, mower, or other compatible setup, I would definitely recommend this one. Just make sure to double-check your measurements and hole spacing before ordering, especially if you plan to use it on a tractor or custom receiver setup. Overall, this appears to be a robust, properly manufactured adapter that does exactly what it is designed to do. 🚚

I would say this is very well-made, heavy and reliable. My bike rack is 2 inch and the receiver is 1.25 inches. This did the trick. It also added some distance, so the bike rack is a bit further from the car, which could be an advantage for an SUV where you gain clearance -trying to lift the hatch.

Durability is great and material is vey heavy duty and well welded. Used with my bicycle rack with 3 bikes. Finish is nice paint job that withstood what should have scratched it. Easily slid into and out of hitch. Height worked great on my car, but even better with my higher SUV.

This works fine. I didn't realize I'd need to go buy something to make it hold on. They could have included at least a pin of some sort. I didn't need an "extender" just the adapter, so I wish it weren't so long. The fit of the cargo carrier was not snug, but too snug to fit a shim... so it was not overly stable. This could be the fault of the adapter or the cargo carrier, so no extra stars removed for this. ***NOTE - Amazon put this in a box with other items. This is VERY heavy and it broke some of the other stuff in transit. Be sure to order this on its own or with soft/unbreakable items. It came in a little box, but it wasn't enough to protect things.

Didn't need it,but it makes a great door stop.

A differenza della foto nell'annuncio di vendita, ha un solo foro sulla parte "maschio" da 1-1/4" e anche in una posizione sbagliata, pertanto è inutilizzabile. Ho dovuto provvedere a fare due fori da 12mm dell'apposito interasse che mi occorreva per poterlo installare alla parte del gancio traino. Per il resto spero nella cosa più importante: che la saldatura regga il peso dichiarato.
