These lights were easy to plug in and set up. Once extended- stability depends on how high or low you raise the light and whether the cord is being pulled based on distance from outlet. I only used the light with the pot on the platform overwise I knew the lamp would tip over. I originally gave 2 stars because 1 died 7 months in, where it wouldn't turn on or just flicker if I played around with the controls. The second wasn't working properly after barely 10 months. The light was actually on, but not enough to emit enough light to my plants. I have no windows in my office and will have to leave my plants out in our suite hallway to make sure they get enough light each day. Otherwise, they would only receive light when the room was occupied (auto lights). After reading 1 particular review, I'm happy that I didn't throw the lights away and adding 1 star back. I pulled the USB cord out of the plug and plugged it into my laptop...it worked perfectly! So now I can use old USB cell phone plugs to get them working again (I don't have USB outlets near where the plants are located) . The plugs that come with the lights are straight trash.

Perfect. These little grow lights were exactly what I was looking for. They are sturdy, telescope a surprisingly long ways and the acrylic base they come with sit nicely under the pot, plus the cord is a great length which I really appreciate. I highly recommend these.

I’ve had my lights for a few weeks and have been skeptical of their legitimacy, my plants seem totally oblivious to the extra light (no growth/movement towards the lights or indication it’s an actual UV light) and now one of them is having issues turning on and powering up to full or even half power. I wouldn’t buy these again simply bc plants are fiddly enough without having to worry about fiddly grow lights too. I’ve seen other reviews that say it’s the power plug part that’s the cause of the lights not functioning correctly and while I have yet to test that theory….i don’t have an abundance of extra power plug adapters which makes this almost more frustrating than if it was actually just a faulty product overall. If I have to go buy extra plug adapters, I’d expect to pay less overall bc those things aren’t cheap. Either sell them without the lousy power plugs or reduce the price and let people purchase their own. Clearly this is enough of a problem and it’s frustrating to see the seller seem to not care enough to do anything to address it.

These lights are really adapting to any room or any temperature for my plants, the money is definitely worth it and its is not flimsy, its easy to use good thing i bought two.

I just set one of these up now that the foliage on my amaryllises is starting to grow. It is a little unwieldy due to the weight at the top, but my plants noticed it immediately and are turning towards it already, like teenagers aiming at food. It is very much the same thing after all. The crucial thing with the light is that it is tall enough.
