Working so far!
Got some solar lights for my balcony, and the original double sided tape wasn't adhering to the stucco well, so I figured I'd give this a try. So far, so good!

Holds firm on flat non-porous surfaces; No information on weight limits
I tested this tape using a ceramic vase. Two strips about two and a half inches were placed horizontally (pictured). It was adhered to a smooth surface and allowed to sit for several days (we were away). It was placed low with cushioning underneath just in case. Upon returning five pounds of weights were added (pictured). It sat for another 24 hours. The vase is very secure as concluded by trying to pull it off. I am confident that another five pounds will not even present a challenge to its adhesion. The tape is actually very thin. There is almost no gap between an object and the wall to which it is adhered. If using outside you may want to seal the edges, especially the top, since water will be able to get through even though the gap is small. Interestingly, I tried using it to reinforce a velcro-like strap that was holing back a curtain. It kept coming off the smooth wood to which it was adhered. I assumed that using this double sided tape would keep it in place. However, the sticky side of the strap, which was originally adhered to the wall, kept separating from this tape. That I did not expect. I assumed that because both surfaces were glue that it would be almost impossible to separate. I tried this on another glued surface of a different velcro material and the same thing happened. It seems that this glue will not stick to an already glued surface. The only issue that I have with this tape is not knowing its limitations. The description states that it can be used outside for “long-term use up to 200°F (93°C),” yet, there is no hint of how much is needed to hold a particular weight. Therefore, depending on the object’s value, weight, or importance, or all three, it may be prudent to use all that the surface will allow to minimize risk. Or, just secure it by hammer or drill as maximizing the amount of tape for each project can get expensive. Based on my trial, I am rating with five stars. It used a total of five inches of tape and it appears very well secure. Based on my attempts to pull it off the wall, I am confident that it can hold at least twice the weight and likely more. The example with the glue-on-glue not sticking is for your consideration and not regarded as a fault in the tape as it is not part of the description.

A useful roll to keep around for all the random mounting jobs
This is one of those products that ends up being more useful than it looks at first glance. A roll of heavy-duty double-sided mounting tape is great for home DIY, office fixes, trim work, and all those little projects where screws would be too much and regular tape would be a joke. I like that this is a full 15.6-foot roll because it gives you enough to actually use on multiple jobs instead of one small task and done. The waterproof and temperature-resistant angle also makes it more versatile for a variety of spaces and surfaces. This would be a practical option for automotive trim, decor projects, cable management, small mounting needs, and workshop or office use. It is the kind of supply that is nice to have on hand before you need it. The main thing to check before buying is whether the thickness and width fit the type of project or surface you plan to use it on. Noting that it's held up to various projects thus far. I put up light strips after their adhesive failed and since they're only about half the size of the tape width I had enough for two light strips after trimming. They also held up my power strips as well. The only thing I'd mention is to have a great adhesion make sure the area is free from dirt, oil, dust, etc and give it a quick wipe with alcohol to make sure there isn't any oil or residue from the cleaner. Then apply the tape to your wall and press for 30-60 seconds making sure to smooth out any bubbles. Then peel the paper from the tape, revealing the second side, and apply your item and press again. You can press your item to the tape first if you'd like and press, just keep in mind if your item can't be pressed into the wall with equal pressure and good adhesion. I hope it lasts! I've used gorilla glue double sided tape before which had mixed results and lately has usually failed on me even with the steps mentioned above. This one definitely feels like it "melds" more into the material you're sticking to so while taking off may be a pain in the future, for now it's working great.

Strong adhesive, predictable performance — exactly what I wanted from VHB-style tape
I’ve used a lot of acrylic foam mounting tape over the years for desk setups, electronics projects, automotive trim, and random around-the-house fixes, so I had a pretty good idea of what I was expecting here. Thankfully, this roll performed exactly the way I hoped it would. One thing worth noting: although the listing is under the SANKA brand, the liner and core markings on the roll itself are branded as 3M VHB. I can’t speak to the supply chain side of that, so I won't, but the actual performance absolutely matches past VHB I've used. Adhesion is extremely strong on properly cleaned smooth surfaces, and the foam layer has just enough thickness to handle slight imperfections without feeling overly soft or squishy. I’ve mainly been using it for office/electronics-related stuff — for example, securing wrist rests that constantly liked sliding around on my desk. A couple small strips solved the issue immediately. Like any tape in this category, surface prep matters a lot. Clean the surface first, apply pressure, and give the adhesive some time to fully bond. If you do that, this stuff grabs hard. I also appreciate that it’s easy to work with. The backing peels cleanly, the roll cuts easily with scissors, and it doesn’t feel unusually thin or cheap compared to other mounting tapes I’ve used. At the end of the day, this is one of those products where “it worked exactly as expected” is genuinely the best compliment I can give it. Very useful to keep around if you regularly work on DIY projects, electronics, cable management, trim pieces, or home office setups. Final note, and this is not unique to this product but all tape of this kind I've ever used: fingers oil kills the adhesion so either hold on to the edges or if you're going to use a lot back-to-back just put on a pair of nitrile gloves.

Well it works really Well - see my pictures
I am not a double sided tape expert- however I have used many types throughout the years mostly for work (was involved in set design for shows where double side tape was used for fabrics etc on set pieces). Anyway this stuff is good - one thing I like is it’s very thin but strong at the same time. It’s super sticky. One smart thing is it came in a resealable plastic bag which will keep it clean and moist - One of the reasons I ordered this was to mount some led tape under an overhang by the pool. Although the led tape has it’s own sticky bit - typically it does not hold up- I add this type of tape and it seals the deal so to speak. It’s rainy today so I tested it out in my workshop with a random castor. This Castor is rather heavy for its size- The surface it is stuck to is painted plywood- which is a bit rough in texture- not the perfect scenario (smooth is best). It was so solid that I hung a large Nico press tool off the wheel - I was actually quite surprised the wheel didn’t budge - see pictures- After testing—- I am extremely confident it will work on my LED tape and any other project that pops up. Regardless it works well and I would order it again as needed. Oh and the value/quality for the $ is great.

Uses a top shelf name-brand adhesive, waterproof and temperature-resistant
I have used quite a number of different double-sided sticky tapes over the years, some good and some not so good. This 1” wide by 15.6’ long offering from SANKA is a competent choice for adhering whatever item you need to a smooth surface. It is both waterproof and temperature resistant so you can use this in exterior applications. The first thing I thought when I started playing around with this is “this is the good stuff”. The role comes in a reusable zip-sealed plastic pouch which will keep it clean during storage. The adhesive appears to be a Scotch brand 3M material which is a sign of quality in my opinion. Once you remove the backing, it has a rubbery and stretchy type quality. It does have some thickness to it but not overly so. The marketing description and photos appear to guide you towards smooth surfaces only and not textured or powdery surfaces. You just need to experiment with your particular application to see if this is appropriate. I was pleasantly surprised with the adhesive durability and I think most users will be as well. Pricing is appropriate for an item like this. Recommended.
