Sol de Janeiro Cheirosa Hair & Body Perfume Mist

I love Sol de Janeiro products, and trying out new fragrances. This is my first time trying out the Sol de Janeiro 39, and it is now one of my absolute favorite body sprays. I see what all of the hype is about with this particular scent! The bottle is a decent size, and I find that it's convenient to toss in my bag or purse. It's nozzle sprays well, and has a fine mist that is easy to apply to my pulse points. I also like adding some to my hair sometimes, as it adds a nice refreshing smell. The bottle is cute, and I love the teal green color. The lid fits on nicely, and stays on during traveling. There were no issues with leakage or anything when I received it. I like that this body spray has a decent strength to it, but it doesn't seem overwhelming or overpowering. I don't typically get headaches from (most) fragrances, and I definitely don't have any headaches with this spray. It's a great scent, without being too much. This spray is great for using alone, or for layering with lotion or even other fragrances. I love the layers of fragrance notes, and appreciate that this scent lasts longer than many of my other body sprays. I feel this is a great quality fragrance, and one with a delicious smell to it. Additionally, it can last for several hours without me needing to reapply. I've had no issues with irritations or headaches. Overall, I absolutely love how this spray smells on me. I've gotten many compliments while using it, and am very pleased with it's qualities. I think this is a decent value for the price, in my personal opinion. I would absolutely order this again; it's an amazing smell that is gourmand and sweet, with very nice notes. I'm in love with this fragrance!

Have had the small size since the Black Friday sale and I’m only halfway through it (end of May). I get so many compliments from both men and women. I work at a hardware store and I have contractors stop me and tell me I “smell like a vacation” and “smell delicious”. Women have followed me while I work until I tell them what I’m wearing lmao. It was fs weird at first but 🤷‍♀️. I use this and super milk (lush) in my hair and that’s when I get the most attention. Like, people literally say “what’s that smell, someone smells really good” etc. It’s pretty rich for a summer gourmand. If I wasn’t getting so much love for it I’d probably keep it to just fall/winter. The praline comes thru pretty strong at first but it dries to coconut-vanilla-y.

This spray smells delicious! It smells just like a praline or a caramel candy! The scent is pretty strong too and lasts a while! It’s long lasting for a body spray is what I’m getting at. I know these are a bit expensive but I think they are worth the money! The bottle is cute too! Easy to throw in your purse and carry around. I would highly recommend this!

It was tough to decide on 4 or 5 stars for this product because I absolutely love the scent, the bottle is a good size and easy to use and hasn't leaked. However, it was $40 which is a little steep for something that doesnt seem to last too long. It is a perfume MIST though so I guess that tells me its going to have a lighter effect than an actual perfume. I'm glad I purchased this and probably will again because it smells AMAZING. fans of tropical coconut scents like myself should try this. I discovered this product by asking a customer at work what they were wearing because she smelt so good and I have never asked anyone that before but I had to know. I’ll never not be skeptical about spending $26 on a body mist but I needed a beachy-summer scent and I saw someone say in the reviews that I ‘needed this in my life’ so I bought it. Gooooooood goooooogly moooogly Disclaimer: I haven’t been wearing it long enough to talk about longevity, which is usually the most important aspect of a scent/mist/perfume to me. That being said; Even if it turns out to have the longevity of a fart, it still would’ve been worth it. First spray was like “hmm this is good” second spray layered with suntan lotion was nearly orgasmic. One of the best things I’ve ever smelled in my life. I write reviews like maybe once every couple years and while I hate spending more than like $15 on a mist, this one is very much worth it.

Really like this scent. Sweet with strong coconut and vanilla scents. It is a light body mist not too heavy. Doesn’t last too long, needs a refresh later on in the day.

Cheirosa 39 used to be called Coco Cabana. I had it before, ran out, and immediately regretted it, so I was really happy to see it rereleased. I don’t always crave this scent, but there are random moments where I really wish I could smell it. Since it’s limited edition, I had to have it on hand because I didn’t want to risk never being able to smell it again. On the opening, this really does smell like warm, buttery popcorn to me. Some people smell it and some don’t, but I’m definitely one of the people who gets that note right away. It’s very nutty and buttery at first. As it starts to dry down, the coconut cream and praline begin to come through more. That’s when it shifts into a sweeter, nutty, very gourmand creamy coconut scent. I don’t get much of the orchid note at all. Even though it’s a strange one, there’s something about it that keeps me coming back to it. It’s sweet, cozy, and different from the usual beachy coconut scents out there. This is definitely not a safe blind buy, though. If buttery or popcorn-like notes sound off-putting to you, I would absolutely test it first. But if you’re a collector of Sol de Janeiro scents, this is a must-have.

It lasts long when you apply it onto your clothes. It is the perfect size for a small purse. It smells SO INCREDIBLY ABSOLUTELY AMAZINGLY ABNORMALLY ABSURDLY EXTRAORDINARILY INSANELY FREAKING DELICIOUS AND MY MOST FAVORITE AND BEST SCENT EVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I just LOVE the scent so much. Its scent is giving coconut cookie vibes (if you’ve tried them and liked them and wanted to smell like them, this is definitely for you) It’s just SUCH a good perfume. I would 100% recommend!! This is COMPLETELY worth the money.

It smells so so good and way better than any other one in this brands arsenal

This was my first time trying anything in the 39 line but I do like how distinctive the packaging is. The bottle is lovely, a proper chunky 240ml bottle in a really pretty mint green shade, comes with a protective cap on the bottle and seal. It's definitely not something I'd be throwing into my handbag unless I fancied developing one very muscular shoulder, lol. The smaller travel size would make much more sense for carrying around but if you're mostly using it at home then this larger bottle is far better value. I like the bottle a lot in general, it has a good atomiser too. This one gives a nice even puff without needing loads of pressure and, importantly, it doesn't just fire a concentrated wet patch directly at your chest. This is a very summery fragrance to me. The coconut is absolutely the strongest bit of it. If I didn't know and had to guess what it was meant to be, coconut would be the first thing out of my mouth without hesitation. Alongside the coconut, there's some faint vanilla but the coconut definitely overpowers it. Quite tropical, imo. It is fairly strong when you first spray it, to the point it made my nose sting a bit! Surprised me for a body mist but it settles down nicely after that. At the end of the day, this is still a mist rather than a perfume but honesty the longevity is not too bad. The strength obviously softens after the initial spray but I could still catch little whiffs of it throughout the day rather than it completely disappearing after a couple of hours. I'd call the longevity medium overall but honestly quite impressive for a mist. If sweet fragrances aren't your thing, this probably won't change your mind because it is sweet more than anything! But for me it strikes a nice balance. It's fun and summery and the bottle is so huge that the value is good even if you have to reapply regularly.
