I love this heated under blanket because it is so warm heats up very quickly and has separate functions for your body and your feet which is fantastic for my restless leg syndrome and my fibromyalgia it is very very easy to use and understand it is very padded and comfortable to sleep on and almost has a quilted texture you cannot feel the wires in the blanket at all the timer function is especially useful I can put my blanket on set it to the heat that I want and the part of the body that I want it goes from one to nine on the heat settings for each part of the body the main tour so and legs and a separate one for your feet the time of function is fantastic because I can put it on within 10 minutes it's lovely and warm and I can go to sleep knowing that I won't overheat I won't waste electricity or get too hot and it will turn itself off even if I fall asleep which is invaluable the time I goes from one hour to two hours to all night and it was fantastic value for money I highly recommend this I use it every night because my feet get cold and I struggle to get them warm again I struggle to do a hot water bottle my partner has to do that otherwise I'll burn myself so having this I don't have to rely on him and anica will hot water bottle I can warm my feet as well as my body at the same time I highly recommend this to help with pain management as well why I never invested in one of these sooner I have no idea but I'm so glad I have now

Really Really pleased with this Electric Blanket. I bought one for myself first ,14 months ago, and am so pleased with its warmth, simplicity and practicality of being able to wash it in the washing machine at home, I’ve since bought the same for my parents, my 2 sisters and a friend and all are really pleased with the blanket and like myself, all wish they’d got one sooner. The blanket serves its main purpose very effectively. It is clearly differentiated into two halves so that couples can have different temperatures from each other as well as differences in foot and body area temperatures. Warms up quite quickly (an hour to an hour and a half, we find). The quirks concern the controls. It came as a surprise that these have to be set each night as the chosen levels are not retained in any form of memory. Moreover, the first two options for duration jump from one hour to five hours, with nothing in between. We set ours for five hours but then have to remember to switch off once we get into bed. Just seems bizarre that there is no two hour option, for example. Perhaps, other models have more sophisticated setting devices. Important to emphasise that the above are quirks and that the blanket itself is a great asset.

Bought this during a recent cold snap. It had always bothered me when getting into bed when outside temps had plummeted that my sheets were cold. Admittedly, my circulation isn’t always great. It was a grateful me who slithered into bed with this setup at setting 4 for the body section and 3 for the feet area. As I have a chunky duvet, laying there for about 10 minutes allowed both me and the bedding to gently thaw out and all bedding was truly comfortably warm with 15 - 20 minutes. This really aids sleep in those sorts of temps too like it relaxes the body. Personally, I don’t need to set this to the higher settings (it goes up to 9 in both areas with separate controllers for both sides of the bed). Controller easy to use and I’m now using the blanket to warm the bed before I get in often. I find the 1 hour setting enables me to warm everything up and then I don’t need it on throughout the night. Again, the controller gives further time options and you could have it on all night if you so wish. When turning the blanket on I click the switch off first as I usually forget to do this when I awake (when timer finishes the previous night, the manual on/off is still in on position but the timer has cut the power itself). When I click switch to off I await the display flickering red and then turn manual power on and set temps and times again. Not a faff for me. I personally wouldn’t want to pop this on a smart power point as some nights I don’t want it on as bed bedding gets too stuffy so I prefer the manual tinkering. When sleeping I clearly turn over on occasion and the blanket does slip a bit to one side over the course of a about a week or sometimes a few weeks. The straps that go underneath the mattress don’t hold it super firmly but firmly enough for me. This would depend on mattress type and fit anyhow. Not an issue for me really it’s pretty easy to adjust this by me gently tugging the blanket back into position every week or so when I change sheets. It seems very well constructed, safe and comfy and I’m definitely happy I went with this purchase.

Very warm and comfortable with good controls

I like the quality and the heating is nice and cosy enough however a big disappointment for me that it does not remember the setting you last set. I have connected it to smart plug to keep things automated but the moment you turn off and on it goes back to 9 9 setting.

Great size - misses out the bit under the pillows so no wasted electricity, covers the whole of the sleeping area and the elasic underbands hold it in place. Although it warms up really slowly, my OH and I don't need it too warm. We put it on full for an hour before bed - and it's on a timer, so no worry about forgetting to turn it off. This has stopped the whole-body muscle-clamp of getting into a freezing cold bed, only unfurling after about 15 minutes of irritation and tryng to self-warm an inch of bed at a time. Just to slip into bed without a gasp but with a relieved and relaxing sigh is really worth every penny. It has dual controls, one for each side, and each side has dual controls for the body and feet. I was dubious after handling it that we would feel the wires, but we can't, so far. It is brand new though, so time will tell. Seriously, it has taken away the tensing-up in preparation of getting into a cold bed and made that first slide beneath the duvet into a prelude for sleep, as opposed a trauma to get past! Why on earth we thought an electric blanket was for sissies is anyone's guess, but it makes the having it all the more sumptuouly self-indulgent - and, by the way, it has given us a better night's sleep prelude. Does it sound like I like it? I do!
