Heats up really fast but does not have temperature control.Perfect for straightening course roots.If you have grey hair 450 is to much heat and will get your hair yellow if you pass over and over, so be careful and just make a quick light pass it really straightens hair quickly.

This is my second one. I noticed after using it for three months I have to replace it. The plates don’t close evenly and begin to cross

I have long hair but I got this it better tame my roots between relaxer touch ups. I am finally using it after it arrives a couple days ago and it feels so soft from root to ends. Even in the kitchen where it's harder for my regular 1 inch flat iron it get. It's not drying my hair or breaking it off it has nice shine ans deels as soft as if I just got a touch up. Hopefully the pics are clear in the difference of my roots before and after.
