Does this shirt actually provide enough sun protection? Do I still need to wear sunscreen under it?

Featuring UPF 50+ protection, it blocks significantly more UV rays than regular cotton shirts. Shoppers report no burns on covered arms and shoulders during long outdoor trips. For full safety, apply sunscreen to any uncovered skin.

Is this shirt breathable for hot weather? Does it get sticky when you sweat a lot?

Great breathability for hot weather. Moisture-wicking material whisks sweat away and dries fast, preventing sticky skin. It often feels more comfortable than ordinary short sleeve shirts under high heat.

How is the sizing? Does it run small or shrink after washing?

It fits true to our size chart. Stick with your normal size for a standard fit, or size up if you want extra room for layering. With proper cold-water washing, the fabric maintains its shape and will not shrink or fade over repeated washes.

Can I wear this for surfing? Will the seams chafe when I’m paddling?

Yes, it works perfectly as a surfing rash guard. Smooth flatlock seams prevent chafing on shoulders and armpits even during long paddling sessions. The lightweight fabric absorbs minimal water and dries quickly once you get out of the ocean.

Does the sun protection wear off after washing? How long does the UPF rating last?

The UPF 50+ protection is built into the fabric fibers and won’t wash out. With proper care using cold water and no bleach, it maintains UV performance for months. The material resists pilling and stretching with regular repeated washing.
