Poorly made
I bought this when everyone in my house was falling ill as I was convinced we were subject to harmful rays etc., but if this can be believed, we weren’t. I then put it away. I went to get it just now, and something was rattling in it (it is pretty hollow and light anyway). I didn’t know what it was until I tried to charge it...the connector point had fallen into it, so it can’t be charged.

Easy to use professional Geiger counter
The item came as predicted.I was out so the product was delivered to my local post office. The device was well sealed.I bought some batteries for the item, but you can also use rechargeable batteries. The batteries can be charged in the device.Easy to use with a very clear screen. It stipulates that the accuracy is within 10% which is very good.I thoroughly recommend you buy this device. It was a cheap price but by no means a cheap and nasty product.

Good build quality.
A very good product, and far better than the other current, slightly more expensive rival available now.Easy to operate and reliable, though I can't really test it without the nuclear power station 15 miles from me having a mishap! There were no batteries supplied with this, so make sure you have a couple of AAs around for delivery time. A well built, solid unit with coloured display, and histogramLater:Reduced by one star, as the mute button does not work

You get what you pay for
Geiger counter tested on numerous radioactive substances and responded well. Whilst the "click" of the meter is fairly accurate, the display shows often outdated information. It does have two problems that separate it from a standard issue professional counter: one, buttons like the mute and alarm button do not work. Two, the counter detects false rates for approximately a minute after startup. However it is great value considering the expense of Geiger counters nowadays, and I would recommend it for anyone intending to use it for personal use.
