Lim's LC-CL1BK Metal Grip Genuine Leather Camera Half Case for Leica CL Black

I own a Leica D-lux 109 for which I bought the Gariz half case. It provided a 'bump' on the frontside for extra stability. I started my photography career with a Leica M3 in 1972, which became a collection of M4s with lenses. In all the years I used those cameras I never put a case on them, and they looked pretty beat after a decade of use. Now, I can see the wisdom of protecting this investment, and this case gets the job done with added desirable features. It covers more of the camera body in the front, it has the additional aluminum hand grip, and it comes with a base plate already built in (which is removable). It fits perfectly, the stitching is immaculate. All told, it will prevent my Leica CL winding up looking like my M4 all those years ago.

It looks good, feels good, smells good, works well, great ergonomics. Love it. Always feel my CL is protected. Had mine for 3 years now. Highly recommended.
