Cheap, flimsy made Chinese junk!!!
I don't leave reviews on things very often but this is one cheap made peice of junk that nobody should be guilty of buying. Only China would ship out such a flimsy made peice of merchandise. The metal frame of this thing is not much thicker than sheet metal. The nuts and bolts are very soft and easy to strip, not to mention it doesn't even come with washers or nylon locking nuts. Thing will probably fall apart after a week if a slight wind doesn't fold it up first. As for directions.....might as well throw them away because they are black and white pictures that are blurry and the wording might as well be written in Chinese because it makes no sense. I've put windmills this size from Tractor Supply and other hardware stores together before. Sure, they are twice as much in cost, but it's well worth it to get an item that isn't as cheap made and flimsy as this thing is. Other people who purchased this windmill and say it's good quality must have received a totally different quality of product than what I got in the mail. Buyer beware!!! Do Not Purchase unless you want a cheaply made, flimsy sheet metal framed windmill put together with hardware made of something softer than aluminum. Almost ashamed to give this thing to my Dad for a Christmas present.

It's cheap, with some modification it's fine.
Waited long enough to see it in action for good review: VINGLI Upgrade 8FT Ornamental Windmill Backyard Garden Decoration Weather Vane Very thin metal, but design is decent. Spinner part is good design, some space between 2 bearings makes it more solid. Included bolts are not meant to be in weather and not having any locking mechanism is ridiculous. Saw that when I put it together and wondered if they knew what they were doing...nope. Top mount bolts were gone within a few days. I bought galvanized bolts and locknuts to fill in as their bolts fell out--included bolts also rusted quick. The 4 tent stakes to hold the windmill upright are the cheapest straight stakes, basically useless--first decent wind and mill on the ground. Put it together with different bolts/locknuts and weld it to a big metal piece sitting on the ground and it'll be fine. Looks good from the road.

Good windmill
The quality of the product is made of good materials, very stable , the assembly process was a little vag just pictures of parts and where parts go , but doesnโt tell you where parts actually go inside the frame or on outside of frame work plenty of hardware I added lock washers to my windmill, all in all great product, I think the customer service response leaves a lot to be desired.

It looks nice, when its still standing
I had to replace all the nuts with locknuts as this thing just vibrated itself apart multiple times. It also got windy enough here to blow the entire thing over, even though I pushed this thing way down into the ground.

Not so good
The swivel head is mounted to the legs by only 4 very small bolts, one in each leg. The bolts had flat washers instead of lock washers. The fan is very badly out of balance and it vibrated so hard the first night that 2 of the head bolts fell out and the other 2 were ready to drop the next morning. I drilled new holes and interconnected legs on each side with long bolts that spanned 2 legs and used lock washers. I have not solved the balance problem yet. But I will not reinstall the fan until I do. One other lesser comment...I am a farmer, a graduate level engineer, and a darn good mechanic. The assembly instructions leave a lot to be desired. I am working on this unit because I want to keep it, but design quality and delivery condition are lacking. Update: I balanced the fan and found the mounting ring itself is welded out of alignment to the bearing. Very poor construction. I recommend you do not buy this windmill.
