NEW FANTASTIC BIG FUNK FEEL GOOD TUNES!
Here returns Lenny only after a couple of years away. Where he suprisingly gave away most of the last 2008 studio album 'Time for a Love revolution' free with a national newspaper, joining Prince in the panic of the direction musicians should take as the music industry crumbled slowly shakily here it is back to selling it as usual. Nothing wrong with that, I've bought my copy, as he certainly deserves it.As the last album was a more sombre, mature, moody in places album, even dark; this new one returns to big hopeful joyfilled tunes, as only Lenny seems to write with little effort. It has tunes much funkier than any new RED HOT CHILI PEPPERS ones, it has deep groove soul, r n'b style, JAY-Z pops up, among others. Maybe too long, a little unfocused toward the end, but as usual from LENNY, garuanteed a good few stunning cool big catchy uplifting tunes to lift you up and make you have a good day once again. Dependable, reliable, outstanding cool funk pop rock goodness returns.

Lenny is back, hurrah !!
This album is just great. I can't find a single bad song on the album. All the songs have their own message and all deserve to be on the album. Favourites are 'In The Black', 'Rock Star City Life', 'Stand', 'Everything', 'Looking Back on Love' which sounds as if it got some Donny Hathaway influence - think 'The Ghetto'. Other favourites are 'The Faith of a Child' and 'Push'.Some reviewers don't like 'Boongie Drop' but I really like it.I think it's a great album and, for me, fills the Lenny Kravitz hole that he left after his 'Love Revolution' album. I think this album is just fantastic and is my favourite album at the moment.

Made for vinyl
This album was made for vinyl. Kravitz said so himself when he released it. Videos of which can be found on youtube. I actually bought this as a present and it is such a much nicer gift than a CD. It is beautiful to look at too.

Lenny's funked up groove!
A good solid album with an interesting dvd. Lenny has been veering more and more away from his rock past and into a funk groove. An enjoyable cd/dvd package.

Brilliant once again!!
I can't believe I missed this CD, it's brilliant. Tracks 10,11,13,14,15 are my favourites. I'm a huge Lenny fan and this doesn't disappoint. However "Baptism" is my all time No1 LK CD
