Great lights, soft glow but bright. The mounting springs are weak and usually bend when installing so they always do not sit flat with the ceiling without some work. The thing that bothers me is that their is no junction box and no mention of them being needed. I had enough experience to know that they are necessary so I bought shallow single gang junction box's (the only ones that will fit through the hole) with covers for the connections for each one for the wiring behind the drywall. I really hope that people are not installing them with the connections exposed without the safety of junction boxes, the manufacturer should really inform buyers of this basic safety code requirement. Great buy for the money although a longer wire would make installation MUCH easier !

These lights are perfect for our closets! And mine did not have a logo, as others have mentioned. I was expecting to purchase another set on Amazon when I came across these. Not only was the price right, but they can be installed directly into the ceiling without a housing. I always had it in my mind that recessed lights require big, bulky housing kits that had to be carefully installed clear of insulation. These lights are not IC rated, but it is very easy to simply push aside the insulation in my attic and pop these right in.I am building his and hers French door closets in our master bedroom with 9ft ceilings. These lights are connected in pairs, and are activated oo an automatic switch. I have 4 of these lights spanning about 8 ft across the ceiling. I'd say this would be the max at only 3 inches.Great value and easy to install.

I installed 16 of these warm white in a 10' X 20' ice shack. I switched a few of them differently to get just the right amount of light when you need it. Very bright when they are all on. Mounted them all 3' apart. They have really light gauge wire coming off them, so I decided to cut up a braided extension cord to wire them. I also soldered all the connection, only because they will get beat around quite a bit. There is a logo printed on the ring which other reviewer complained about, but when they are on you can't even look at them let alone see a logo. They are really sweet for the price. Not sure how they would install in a home application.

These are very bright! We had expected to put 6 in but feel like 2 or 3 will suffice. The color of the light is very pleasing too. It appears very white and bright without giving off that blue-ish tint you often see in LED lights. These were a great find for us and exactly what we needed.Also, there were questions about whether or not these are dimmable. We installed them on wiring that already had a dimmer and once you turn them on, they can be dimmed down. However I know CFL lights when dimmed tend to burn out a lot faster. Not sure if it's the same with LED lights but probably something to look into first.

Great recessed LED light! Have bought 24 of these to replace existing interior lights in a travel trailer. The warm white looks much MUCH better than the daylight white. 2 3/4" hole saw was the perfect size to make the hole for the install. No company name on the outer bezel. Easy install, seems to be a quality product.For RV use: these lights work wonderfully. Toss the included AC/DC converter and get a module to reduce the voltage from 12V to 9.5V. Kimdrox dc/dc converter mini power supply module sold here on Amazon does the trick. Without the voltage reducer, the LED bulbs will blow out, and they will flicker terribly!

Everything is perfect, size, lumens, color and price. But they marked their logo in the visual face of the product and once you have 8 on your ceiling you can see the grey logo everywhere, certainly not good.I tried several products to remove the logo without damaging the plastic besel, i tried alcohol, toluene, ethanol, mr cleaner eraser and those did not perform as i was expecting.At the end i used the old sugar cube trick, rubing the logo with a sugar cube and that gave me the perfect results, it removes fast the logo without damaging the plastic, i did 1 in about 30 seconds and have 80 more to go.

I like those lights , I wish it would have longer wires , that's why I knocked off one star.Oh, and please make sure you use junction box for your safety. And please note that those lights are not UL listed and have a very weak spring

I have purchased 4 sets of these for my garage because of the low profile instalation. I am very happy with my purchase. I was concerned as these are the 3000k and I did not see the 6000k until after I already purchase mine. They tend to have a little bit of the yellow tent to them as apposed to the 6000k more white light, but I have 16 in a 3 car garage and I am glad they are not super bright. Easy to hook up and love the low power consumption.
