I recently purchased this steering wheel lock and I’m very impressed with the quality and ease of use. I decided to buy this item as additional security, especially for when parking away from home or in unfamiliar locations where car theft might be higher than where I live. It arrived next day and well packaged. On opening it was quite a bit heavier than I had imagined it would be, however this is due to its heavy-weight construction, which gives me even more peace of mind when using it. I had not used this type of lock before, although in the past I did own a couple of the expandable bar types that fit across the steering wheel. This style is far more practical and because it is flexible is much more easy to store in the car when not in use. It is very easy to use, just double it over the steering wheel pass the lock part through the eye that you have formed and plug it into your seatbelt socket. To release just insert one of the three provided keys and depress it giving half a turn, a plunger inside the casing then extends, presses the seatbelt release button and Bob's your uncle! The heavy duty securing wire is covered with a sturdy plastic sleeve which protects your steering wheel and then again covered in a fluorescent yellow sleeve which is bright enough to show through lightly tinted windows and act as a deterrent, so hopefully any would-be thief will move on to the next vehicle and leave yours alone! All in all a good piece of kit that will well and truly serve the purpose for which I bought it!

Dead easy & quick to fit & remove. The lock feels strong and sturdy especially with the metal fitting that fits over the seatbelt anchor (some others are plastic). It’s a far less intrusive and bulky lock than most, which is a benefit. A great deterrent to would be thieves. I’ve bought one each for the two cars in our household and use them instinctively now.

I have a car that has a thicker steering wheel and a higher dash so my previous bat steering lock and t bar steering lock were now unusable due to the vehicle. I had seen a similar device on social media and opted for this due to it having a sturdy metal clip surround rather than plastic, making it harder to damage. As a steering lock it is a good idea, loops into the lower corner of the wheel and clips in the seat belt, job done. Couple of things to consider though, make sure you have the key because you can install it without one but can't remove it once installed without key. Also the key mechanism is fiddly, especially if the key is on a set as the other keys/keyrings can hinder the turning ability to unlock it. Lastly if you are a bigger build you will struggle to use this while in the vehicle, as a bigger lady I have to get out before I can install it and unlock it before I get in but thats a combo of a compact car and me, not a fault of the product. Overall a nice piece of kit that doesn't take up much room in the car and is a visible and physical deterrent. I'm glad I paid the higher price for better quality compared to others on market, it just loses one star for the unlocking mechanism.

Arrived within 24 hrs , as expected. This is relatively light weight to what I thought it would be, and nothing like the old style steering locks. It's super easy to fit, light and more bendy than you think. it's the visual deterrent you want without being cumbersome and knocking your passengers out with the old steering locks!. There seem to many versions of these type of locks now but this is sturdy & good value. highly recommend

There has been a noticeable increase in vehicle thefts in my area and a lot of modern cars can unfortunately be taken very quickly with the right tools or electronic devices. Crime figures clearly demonstrate that modern vehicles are not very secure, especially the ones with key-less entry. We had the same problem 50 years ago when car door locks were weak so we resorted to additional security that did work which involved an expanding bar which hooked around the steering wheel and clutch pedal preventing use of the clutch and steering wheel whilst in place. This simple device worked well. Time moved on, car door locks improved and the need for additional security reduced. Car security has gone full circle and we need additional security again and this steering lock by Tevlaphee is a modern update of what we had in the 70's only much better. This modern version is much easier to use and store in the car and works just as well. As many cars today are automatic rather than attaching wheel to clutch you attach wheel to where you attach your seat belt, so simple, easy and quick. Also, the device can be brightly coloured to be visible to would be thieves and is covered in a soft sleeve so as to not cause any damage to modern car interiors unlike some other steering wheel locks currently on the market.

This device is super easy to use! I recently had my vehicle stolen, so I wanted something that is easy to install, store when not in use, and is good quality. This product meets all of those points! It comes with 3 keys which is nice. The bright color doubles this as a great deterrent as well.

The ease of use of this is simple and to the point. So far, only used it a handful of times while long term parking and I have loved it! Got the green to match the F8 green of the Charger and I love it for what it does. It's strictly a slow down deterent, but it will give a small piece of mind. Key can be a bit tricky but gets easier the more you use.

It took me a couple days to get used to using it but it is a great design, and I can attach and detach quickly. After having two members of the family have their cars stolen for a joy ride, this gives me peace of mind. It came with 3 keys which I appreciate. Great value for the money. Bought one each for my husband and two kids. Good quality, good function.

So I've been using this for about a week or so and I've tested it in 2 different cars And I can say for sure that if somebody does manage to get into my car or my wife's car, they're not getting away with it unless they rip out the whole seat belt column But then good luck steering it! I can say for sure that the materials used in this thing.. it's going to take them a long time to even cut through this and I really had no issues setting it up and switching from car to car. I will definitely be using this all the time, especially depending on where we park. And if anybody's wondering we used it in a Honda Accord as well as a Toyota RAV SUV. Just my two cents here, I would suggest getting a colored one like we did (we got the red one) because imagine seeing that in somebody's car already attached to the steering wheel and the seat belt buckle.. I wouldn't waste my time trying to break into that car to steal it. I will have to upload more pictures later of it in the car, but I can say for sure that it works perfectly as it should!
