Flowerpot Treeman Supporting Cheek Groot Succulent Planter Cute Green Plants Flower Pot with Hole Pen Holder (Cheek)

This is very cute and of good quality. The only reason I’m giving it 4 stars is because it says it’s a plant holder, but has a hole in the bottom of the holder where the plant would go. Therefore, each time you water the plant, it would leak water. I guess if you had a fake plant or a succulent, this probably wouldn’t be an issue. However, our daughter doesn’t use it for a plant holder anyway. She actually placed it in her fish tank, which I’m sure her betta fish appreciates as he likes to sleep in the Groot’s head.

This little pen holder is really cute. So far, it appears well made, and sturdy. The color is pretty good.Unfortunately, I bought it to use as a flower pot (as it was advertised) and it's got a hole right through the center of it. Any water that is put into the Groot will eventually end up on whatever surface you place the thing on. I guess you could rest it on a plate or something, or maybe find a way to block the hole. Just seemed odd to me.

We both love plants (we have a jungle) and Guardians of the Galaxy, so naturally, when I stumbled across this, I just had to buy it and plant a Crassula ovata (jade plant species) in it. A year later, the pot is holding up great and the plant is thriving - we water it over the sink to prevent messes due to the drainage hole. Since it sits near our kitchen sink, this isn't an inconvenience for us. Overall, it's ridiculously adorable and a great buy.

The plastic is rather thin, I can't see it being used as a planter as it is shown in the add other than for just starting out seedlings. Would I buy it again? Yes, but I will wait for a lower price on them. My GF loves Groot so it was a gift along with other items for her birthday and she did like it.

My little friends at work!

This is the 2nd time that I purchased Groot. My brother was visiting from Vegas and admired my 1st Groot. I gave it to him to take back home. I knew how easy it was to replace him. The expression on this Groot is cute. Great gift idea.

I love love love my groot. The only downside is he can get a little off balance easily, but he's so cute I don't even care. I use it for a pen cup in my office.

She has it on her desk, with pens and pencils in it, she named it Grooty. Yay
