I had never heard of this type of product before, so trying it was definitely an interesting experience. The pieces come as small off-white resin tears, which already makes it feel different from regular gum. When chewing it, the texture reminded me of wax and the flavor was pretty mild. It has a subtle pine or herbal taste, not sweet at all, and starts off kind of bland. It’s a unique product overall, just very different from what I expected and took some getting used to. I did find myself reaching for it again after a while, but it’s still not something I’d use all the time. Overall it’s very natural compared to regular gum, just know the texture and flavor are not what most people are used to.

I've only tried it once, I got it because I read it was good for heartburn. I think it worked the time I used it. it's gummier than gum you are used to, but it's something that will (after sticking to your teeth) dissolve pretty much, you can swallow it. It came in small lumps, very small. I only tried one but I do think it helped with the feeling of indigestion I was experiencing. I realized later it was gone and I can't 100% credit the gum, it might have just gone away but usually it does not go away by itself. So I gave it a 5, if there were a 4.5 I'd have done that.

The softer pieces get really stuck in teeth

I am unfamiliar with this hard resin chewing gum and was surprised by it for sure. It comes as hard crystal like pieces, and upon chewing, it shatters. The more you chew, it begins to form a gum consistency, but it is very unlike any gum you may be familiar with. It is firmer making it more of a workout when you chew it for a short length of time. The flavor is akin to ginger without the spicy kick. Not unpleasant, just not what I was expecting. I don't quite care for it as a gum, but I am curious to see how it will work in savory or sweet recipes since the flavor is pleasant. It is quite expensive whether used as a spice or gum. And since the flavor is not unique, it wouldn't be something I would be inclined to buy again. This is definitely something that is more special to those who are familiar with it. But it was nice to try something new

Love the flavor! Taste is fresh and piney. It starts off a little crunchy, but quickly turns into the texture we all know and love. It offers a little variety to my natural gum repertoire, and when combined, the two offer a more bouncy experience! I especially appreciate that this natural gum doesn't have a sticky feeling to get stuck all over everything, and doesn't feel like it will have I'll effects on my dental fillings. Excellent, natural product worth it's weight in gold!

Can’t chew it like other mastic gum I’ve had before, this one is too soft and sticks to your teeth like cement.

I really tried to like this, but the taste just was not for me. It was unlike anything I have ever tried before, and it was definitely not what I was expecting. I understand that there are benefits to chewing mastic gum, but the experience itself just did not work for me. When I first started chewing it, the rock like pieces broke apart, and once you actually get into chewing it, it felt more like chewing on a firm wax. The texture combined with the flavor was something I could not get used to. Overall, this just is not something I would personally continue using. I can see how others might enjoy it or use it for the benefits, but for me, I will be passing on it.

I was looking for a natural chewing gum and gave this a try. The natural pine flavor was good but, it stuck in my teeth so bad it took the whole afternoon to get it out. I had to bite down on paper as it was so sticky nothing else worked. I know there are other uses and it appeared to be great quality so I didn't want to give a poor rating but, I would not recommend use as gum by itself.
