Most people have coffee bars; I have a tea bar. These small strainers are ideal for use with loose leaf tea. The mesh is tight enough to keep every little piece from making it from the tea pot to your cup. Unlike using tea bags, these strainers have no effect on the flavor of your brew. The nest together perfectly, making them easy to store or hang. You can use them to sift things as well, so they have several functions of course. I've been using mine for quite a while now and haven't seen a bit of rust, but that's what I love about these. They are rust resistant. This isn't a product you have to replace often so they are well worth the money. I use mine daily, several times a day actually. I just toss the used tea or place it back in the pot for a second brew, depending on the type, rinse the strainer well, and wipe it off with a towel or paper towel for my next cup. Highly recommend.
