Is this the new version?

Yes, I have both and that’s the newer bottle.

What does it taste like? Sweet? Savory? Bitter?

Sweet and fruity initially, bitter and ginger in the aftertaste

Does this need to be refrigerated after opening?

It is definitely suggested, but I have also left it out (on accident) for extended periods without negatively impacting the flavor.
