Product was good, except if you drop it (even once). the screen/ink will be displaced and the item will not boot. I bought 2 of them because I like it... but low and behold eventually it will fall off the table... so moving on..

It's another touch device in an era of touch devices.I haven't had trouble with taps, but have to disable gestures, and don't have the coordination for swipes or for the on-screen keyboard. I am considering a bluetooth micro keyboard, either in a special case or on its own.I bought it to read pdfs, since my old device struggles with sideloaded pdfs and can't read most newer pdfs without reprocessing.The built-in software has trouble detecting books which I've loaded using other apps. I have found other software which works well.

I am not sure if it is specific to a percentage of these devices but upon initial testing, the device was stuck in a boot loop unless it was plugged into a usb. Even when fully charged it would crash and boot-loop even after the latest updates. If this is a hardware quality issue or a software issue, I hope they fix this because this is a very promising e-reader.

Just received the reader. Updated the system first. You have to select "English" on the first screen you see after the update (the same procedure as when you start your device first time actually). After that logged into my google account and installed Google Books and some other apps from Google Play. The apps work perfectly well so far. Kindle app is not accessible from the Play Store though..

Excellent e-ink reader.It is fast, intuitive and lightweight enough that I can carry it around pretty much all day.Google play works (need to activate "Google framework" in the android menu to make it work).I used Calibre and moon+reader pro without a problem.Only drawback : after updating the firmware the reader reverted back to Chinese.Workaround: If you write down the process you can easily find the menu to switch it back into English even if the device is in chinese :)I highly recommend this reader for whoever wants to
