This product works very well. Easy to get my shoes on Foot slides in easily. A great adaptive devise.

After major foot/ankle surgery I had to wear a shoe with an attached metal leg brace. This shoe/brace was absolutely impossible to put on by myself since my foot is locked permanently at a 90 degree angle. It took me AND my wife to put on my shoe/brace which was completely impractical. I was desperate for help so I tried this shoe funnel. WOW, what a great device! Works exactly as described. Large slick surface that clips around the back of your shoe makes your foot (with sock on) slip right into your shoe with very little effort. Now I can put on my shoe/brace without any assistance. This shoe funnel is made of thin, flexible plastic which at first seems a little cheap, but actually it needs to be this way so it can flex to fit a variety of shoe sizes. Highly recommended, especially since there are no alternatives. Only found two shoe funnels online and this one was far superior. I ended up ordering several more shoe funnels just in case they become unavailable. This shoe funnel has become an important part of my daily life. Worth every penny!

I purchased this after watching 86 year old arthritic mother in law struggle for 20 minutes to put her shoes on. Even after she felt her ahi was in she was walking on the back of the heel. When she got the funnel shoehorn she put it on her shoe as directed and her foot went in so smoothly and comfortably that she had to check to see if it was really on! It was! And the heel was not crunched down either. She called me after trying them with excitement that she got her shoes on in less than a minute! Great product for anyone wishing to keep as independent as possible in their self care!

This shoe funnel has made a huge difference for me. I have a pair of Chaco mid-high boots that I just couldn't put on (due to multiple surgeries on one of my legs limiting my mobility), but with the shoe funnel, it holds the shoe open and makes sliding my foot in so much easier. Is it perfect, no. My boot does still tend to want to collapse, but by using the attached string/line, I can pull back to make it work and get my boot on. Personally, I don't use these for my sneakers as a long shoe horn is faster and works better for me, but I can see where this is probably very helpful with others with less mobility than I have. As others have mentioned, the plastic seems rather weak, so I don't know now long it will last with time (I bought two because of all the reviews stating these break), but I think part of that is possibly due to pulling on the cord too hard. So far mine has held up fine for over a month of use and I see no sign of it weakening yet.

These look goofy but they actually work quite well.

my dislike is they are thinly made. this is my 5th set over a 7 year time . cracks easy down the middle. that is not even putting the string in the middle . it should be thicker were. LIKES about it. easy to use once you get used to it that be just a few times, lite as a shoe horn, i wear a size 13 and have very few problems with it . some time the funnel comes out of the shoe before i put my foot in it. but it works so good i keep on buying them may be some day they will make it a little bit better

This is a good item to use but I have found they crack and become unusable after about ten uses.
