Primos Peacock Call

Sounds just like the real bird.

Great sound, loud and clear. Worked great to initially get the attention of zoo [male] peacocks which I to photograph displaying. Sometimes the birds answered the call vocally, and less often, displayed. I could utilize it better if I had one of those woven neck pieces to hold animal calls (its hard to keep taking it out of a camera bag or pocket, where it could also break if dropped or get lost). Lost the instructions on how to change the type of animal calls produced, but have no desire to call coyotes, or whatever else it does.

Peacock call - yea. Let's see hearing your husband practicing on his calls. Warning!!! Do not do this inside of a house in the same room with your wife. Because a frying pan should have came with this order too. Joking.It's loud. He is working on his calls. But really thinking of hiding this call. Works to good. People are going to start looking for these darn birds soon.He likes it. Works great.

Works pretty well. I used this during my turkey season in MN. I didn't get any gobblers to respond to the peacock call- either because they were out of range or uninterested- I'm not sure which. Using it as a coyote call, however, got quite a few gobblers to give up their roosting locations the night before. Very easy to use- I spent about 15 minutes with it before taking it hunting with me. The flexible tube allows for changing the vocalizations to sound more realistic. The only reason for 4 instead of 5 stars is the flexible piece comes off very easily- which is both good and bad. Good for cleaning the call- but in my opinion it comes off a little too easily. By no means a deal breaker and its still a great call. It definitely earned a spot in my vest for next year.

So much fun annoying my family with this call! Sounds like a peacock for sure. Easy to use and to get the hang of. Have not used for hunting and doubt that I will.

If you're using it to locate turkey's it's probably fine. I bought it to call peacocks. The pitch is much higher than an actual peacock. It just runs them away. Only once was I able to modify the sound enough to actually call a peacock closer.

Love it! Bought two more- great locator call. Only two locator calls you need are this one and their owl hooter. Only negative is I used it in late April up by the Canadian border in Washington State and it was hovering around 30 degrees in the morning. After calling a few times, reed froze up by the moisture from my mouth rendering it useless until it warmed up a bit. In the Southern states you should never experience that. Great call and highly recommend.

Arrived on time, worked good. Can’t wait to try it out in the woods
