Inadequate information

When I took the first piece out I could tell it wouldn’t work. I’d like to send it back for a refund and then order a different one but I don’t want to spend more money than what I have so far until I get the refund.

Make sure you know the type and dimensions you need before you purchase

Looking at different models of glazing beads, they all looked like they provided the same type of "support" to the window, just with different designs. However, when I used it to replace the current bead that is coming off my windows, I found that this doesn't just snap in as expected. The fitting was so loose that I ended up having to caulk it in with silicone to ensure that it wouldn't fall out in a wind storm. I know it isn't supposed to provide structural support or anything to the window and, to be honest, a little extra caulk on the windows might be a good thing. I was just disappointed that it didn't fit as advertised.
