Could have been made out of better material but itโs not horrible. Does the job.

Needed a new mallet for small splash gong
This product is exactly as described. Does the job. I do wish it had a hole in the end so I could hang it up.

Solid
Perfect for my tuning forks...part of me wishes it was slightly longer for specific fork-hitting,, but not a dealbreaker. For the price, this is great!

It stinks.
This product smells like it is made from "tire rubber". The smell it is revolting! Also the "strike" is weak! Dont waste your money on its looks! Buy somethig else.

Simple
This is a simple, small rubber mallet that functions well. It's not the hardest so it won't produce a lot of sound. Mine had a strange bump on the top so it looks like a pear. Smelled really strongly of latex.

Can't hear when used with chime
I bought this to use for a softer sound for my chime in the classroom than the plastic mallet that came with my chime. When I use it, there is hardly any sound at all (unless I hit it with the wooden stick part, ha ha). I'm disappointed. Good thing it was so cheap.
