Everyday Tarot: Unlock Your Inner Wisdom and Manifest Your Future

I have been studying the Tarot since 1988 so I am not a newbie. However, Brigit's Everyday Tarot book is a treasure! First, it's a beautifully designed and illustrated hard cover book that is a delight to hold and read. But, the true gems lie within the covers. Brigit shares her fascinating, personal tarot journey that began as a teenager. She is so generous in sharing many fun, powerful, and practical tips for the reader to enhance his/her use of the tarot to create greater flow, inspiration, and joy in life. I began reading Everyday Tarot the other night when I had insomnia. I got up, I made a cup of herbal tea and opened Everyday Tarot which I had received by mail on September 18, 2018. I loved the scent of the book when I cracked it opened - it reminded me of my elementary school years when every September I entered a new grade and I just loved cracking open next textbooks because of their distinctive, appealing scent! I savored the first 40 pages of the book. Brigit's intuitive approach to the Tarot resonates with me so much. In my humble opinion, beginners and seasoned Tarot readers will gain valuable nuggets of wisdom for how to improve their work/play with the Tarot from this book. It's a new permanent addition to my Tarot library. Kudos to Brigit and her artist for creating such a heart-inspired Tarot tome. I would suggest this and her webpage to any tarot reader out there. I only docked one star because I feel like theres a lot more than necessary advertising of her website. It is something you have to pay for to be involved in and I think didn't need to be sited so often, but that doesn't take from the quality of the book. I also disagree with reading from the sacral chakra. Not to say that I am right and she is not, we all will read from different places. No two person is psychic in the same way. I read from my 6th mostly, but I think it may have been more helpful to have said, "I read from my sacral chakra" and encourage people to learn where they read from the best and educate in those regards. For example, I don't read from my sacral chakra so that I am not taking on the emotions and feelings of the person I am reading for. It is draining. When I am in my 6th I am able to be more observant. I get the same message. On the flip side, I LOVE that she said, YOU DONT NEED TO BUY MORE TAROT BOOKS, you need to learn more about the human condition and psychology. SO TRUE. I love that she has a companion for the book. I love her vibe. I love her page for being a free reader. I love that she recognized that helping others read is most fulfilling. Miss Biddy is a Goddess of love and you should buy her book. End of Story.

What a surprise! I have many tarot books - a whole bookcase full in fact. And I read every single one. Every Day Tarot was a surprise in that it was not a go-to for tarot meanings. There are tons of books like that in my bookcase alone. This book was written by the founder of Biddy Tarot, Brigit Esselmont. It is her very personal journey, along with practical tips and techniques that go deeper than most, and FEEL personal and deep. She touches on intuition, self discovery, goals, decision making, relationships, sacred rituals, and so much more. As well as those gems, the hardback book itself is absolutely beautiful, using a color story of purple, white and gold - which go along with the tarot deck soon to be released. As an added bonus Brigit is offering a meaty workplan to go along with this book and deck if you go to everydaytarot.com and enter your receipt number. I did this and downloaded many pages, videos and even a visualization meditation. Yes, I gave this book five stars, a rarity for me. Bravo, Brigit! You hit out of the park!

Everyday Tarot is intelligently written in Brigit’s casual conversational style. It’s easy to follow, not too “woo woo”, and Brigit’s enthusiasm makes the book feel alive :) I’ve only been studying Tarot for about a year and have been stuck and frustrated that I wasn’t “getting it”. I was spending time memorizing card meanings and keywords and focusing on doing it right. So far, I’m only on half way through the book and I’m already feeling a shift. Using the suggestions and techniques in book, I’m slowly starting to let go of the analytical mind and I can feel my intuition and imagination starting to wake up, like a treasure chest has been unlocked and is slowly creaking open. I’m looking forward to discovering what’s inside! I’ve done the Soul Purpose Tarot Spread for the first time and I am truly AMAZED!!! Even if you’ve read dozens of books about Tarot, give this one a try. It's different. It's fun. And you might discover parts of yourself that you didn’t know were there.

I have collected tarot cards for years. The artwork is stunning, some of the books I have are amazing, but some are extremely complicated and I get discouraged trying to figure it all out. This is where my brand-spanking new Everyday Tarot book comes in. Brigit is an amazing, patient, kind and intuitive writer. She doesn't make you feel stupid or inept and she doesn't shove history and memorization demands down your throat. I've read card meanings for a long time, always turning to Biddy Tarot on-line because they are usually spot on to what I'm thinking, so I was very excited for this book to come out. She doesn't disappoint. I highly recommend this book to enhance anyone's tarot collection. I highly recommend it to anyone that hasn't yet started a collection! Just buy the book!

I'm about halfway through but I think I've gotten through enough to write a worthwhile review. This is not a how-to tarot book. It does give a crash course in how to do it so that you can participate in the exercises, but it does not go in depth. This is more of a self help book that uses tarot cards as a tool in order for you to find your best self. I can definitely see using this book as a great stepping stone for beginners who want to learn to read intuitively. I feel that those who would get the most out of this might be people who read, but not very often (or maybe not tarot, but oracles or lenormands) that was to deepen their connection with the cards. As I said, this is really a self-help book designed to strengthen your own intuition and confidence in reading as well as in general regarding your life. If that is what you're looking for in a book, I would wholeheartedly suggest this book. If you're looking for a Tarot How-To, this might not be the book you're looking for. My personal favorite and recommendation for a how-to tarot book would be Kitchen Table Tarot by Melissa Cynova.

Ok, I just started a mentorship with my Spiritual guidance. She recommended this book. I'm a slow reader but really enjoying this. Very easy to read and to understand. Also, love the artwork too. The fact the art is on the actual hardcover. Very well done. I normally do a three-card pull every day. This book has explained the basic meanings of the suits, numbers, and the courts. That has helped me so much. I'm trying more to use my intuition. But have to keep checking, but in time I will remember these, lol.

I Love, love, love this book. It's honest about how to used Tarot intuitively and how to use it in everyday life. I actually owned the Biddy Tarot cards and I am so happy I decided to buy the book as an accompaniment. I like her stories and how they tie into doing personal readings for yourself. one of my fave readings it the Soul Purpose Spread.

Very impressed with the speed of the delivery. Only received today, 12th January 2024. A quick flick through makes the book look very interesting.

This Tarot book is a must have for beginner and experienced readers alike. The emphasis of this book is on using the Tarot for self-development and using your intuition to read the cards rather than relying on the Traditional meanings. While it does provide some basic information, beginners would probably find a general Tarot reading book beneficial as well. I say this because I feel that as well as using your intuition, it is also helpful to have some more traditional guidance when you are learning to read the Tarot. Having said that, I wish I had this book years ago when I was first learning. A valuable addition to every Tarot reader’s library regardless of experience.

If you want to learn how to empower yourself through tarot in any aspect of your life, this is the book. She’s not really teaching you how to do tarot but sharing her tarot journey and invaluable gifts of ideas and techniques to use tarot for your highest good. User friendly for beginners to experienced tarot readers. Great addition to my tarot book collection.

I’m just beginning my journey with Tarot, having started with oracle cards, I felt intimidated by Tarot with its history and all kinds of myths. This book made all the difference. I feel like I was guided to it, it is soul based and so well organized. Apart from stressing what tarot can and should be used for, it also tells you what it is not and how you should not use it. It is not just a book one reads, it will always be a reference book and therefore a must have.

Very practical with many spreads that will make you stick to your tarot interpretation routine! At least, so it does to me!
