Women's Layer Fringe Boot

Beautiful pair of boots. Very well made and comfortable. Love the leather smell. True to size.

I was unsure whether or not to buy these boots, due to a size discrepancy in the description: At the top of the page, it states that the boot opening measures 14.25". But, when you scroll down, the ad info states that the boots have a 13 .5" calf circumference. Since my calf measures 14.5" around, I was afraid I wouldn't be able to zip them up. I decided to go ahead and order them however, and find out for myself. The boots do zip up, but since there is no extra room at the top, I can only wear leggings with them. They fit a little tight at first (calves and left foot), but stretched a bit after I wore them a couple of times. These boots are very well made and comfortable. Since my left foot is a little larger (9 3/4" long) they were a little tight on that foot at first, but since the leather is very flexible and soft, they have already stretched a bit and are now very comfortable. I normally wear a size 9, and was unsure what size to order, but these are working out well.Update: 8-29-2019--I tried my boots on with jeans again and wonder of wonders--this time they zipped up! So I can now enjoy wearing them with my blue jeans! Since these boots are real leather it didn't take long for them to stretch and conform to my shape. Another good reason for me to love these boots!

Beautiful work highly recommend ! Real leather and great quality stitching too is durable and easy to clean up with a little bit water a soft rag, got for my daughter and she is happy! Six months later so ya highly recommended it to anyone who is looking for something great and long lasting.

I had to work to get my feet into the boots, but that was just the first time. As soon as I got them on and walked around, they conformed to my feet. They are gorgeous and very comfortable. They seem tight at first, but that goes away after you wear them for a couple hours, and then it's as if they were custom made for your feet.

First, I LOVE boots! These I saw on a classmate (in the tan and loved them ) and I too, searched for these boots in my area and couldn't find the 5 layer anywhere but tried on the 3 layer at DSW- and knew that they didn't come in half sizes, so I ordered a 10-even after reading the reviews about the narrowness of the boot. Size 10 is a half size bigger and they are tight, tight. A bigger size won't solve the fit issues. Overall, the boots arrived FAST! as I am a prime member and Amazon always delivers :) - I pulled them out and tried them on and they ARE SNUG. I know that suede will stretch out and that is what has me worried. The way the boots are constructed no matter what size your feet are, they are going to overlap the bottom of the boot- the sole is the narrowest part of this shoe and you'll feel your feet slipping over the sole- so when they do stretch out- your going to see the overlap of your feet onto the sole- the other reviewers remark about the back of the ankle rubbing- that's true as well. I am average sized as far as my calves go-so no problem zipping them up or fitting around the calves - that's a plus because as the suede stretches- they won't tend to fall down. However, as I own AT LEAST ten pairs of boots for the fall and winter - so I do consider myself a bit knowledgeable about fit and wear- I store my boots and bring them back out in season - so I don't mind "paying for what I get"- that is the main reason I will more than likely return these boots. For the amount of money that they cost- the sole should be constructed better and I am particular - if I don't like the boot or am uncomfortable to the point of distraction wearing them - I will gift them to others- I have been known to literally take the shoes off of my feet and give them to a friend! But, back to my main "gripe" if you will- I buy a lot of boots and spend anywhere's from $25. to $150. on them- so I expect not to have to make do with a $100. pair of boots, and a brand such as Minnetonka should have put more thought/effort into the construction of the soles. They are extremely aesthetically pleasing- but I know the idiosyncrasies will stop me from wearing them- so- I will try to wear them around the house- for tomorrow- It's Sunday- but in the end- I know that I will return them. That makes me very sad. One reviewer said due to her Native heritage she would keep them and loved them- as my mother is full Ojibwe- these are not even close to moccasins in construction. UPDATED: after wearing the boots around the house- they are definitely subpar as far as construction goes for the price- the left is way off compared to the right and the box says size 10, but you couldn't convince me they were a size 10- My husband just asked me "what are you going to wear them until you decide to keep them" I sadly have to say "NO" - as I was taking them off the zipper fringe broke right off- normally a non issue- BUT- I JUST GOT THEM! Minnetonka missed it on this one. The search continues.

If they came in wide they would have been perfect. I normally wear a 6 1/5 wide. I ordered size 7 because they say "True to fit" so I went by that. If these were soft sole they would have fit better but the rubber sole makes them hard and less flexible. I'm going to put my boot stretcher in them to stretch out the width rather then return because they only need to stretch out a little in the width to fit comfortably. Moccasins do conform to your feet the more you wear them but I don't want to wait that long.I will order another pair in the future but I will order a size 8 and insert arch supporters to compensate for the extra room.Thank goodness for the zipper!Beautiful boots. Well made as usual and aside from the narrow rubber sole, they feel great.I have legs. No skinny calfs. They zip up snug. If you have skinny calves you may need some stuffing to fill them out. There's plenty of room to stuff your Jean's into the boots. I won't be able to because my calves fill them up.I expect these to last for year's.I got the dusty brown and next pair I'll get a different color and size up from a 7 to an 8 UNLESS they have a "WIDE" available. I'm use to SOFT SOLE and didn't take that into consideration when I purchased these with hard rubber solesUPDATE I bought a boot stretcher and leather conditioner and fixed the problem in 24 hour's. They fit perfectly now. Will NOT be buying a size 8 as they would be too long.I even have room for arch supports.So, my true size is 6.5 wideI purchased 7m and used a boot stretcher with conditionerPerfect 👌

Why did you pick this product vs others?:I had been looking at these for a REALLY long time and finally decided to get them. I ordered up a full size and they fit perfectly! I’m 5’8” and they come to right below my knees. They are soft, super comfy and just beautiful!
