Enjoy having a 100 dollar Rolex
Pros:1- Solid high build quality except that made in "china" band.2- Astonishingly precise timekeeping. Only 1 second gain in 10 days!!!3- Classic, stylish, elegant look of a mutil-thousand dollar Rolex.4- Amazing price tag for having all of the above benefits.Cons:1- The band although high quality is not made in japan but in china and thus does not promise the same high quality as of the watch itself.2- Unfilled, unstamped and thus invalid SEIKO guarantee card. It means null guarantee service from official seiko dealers. Amazon's guarantee is your only left choice. Please take care by ordering and ask amazon to fill and stamp the card for receiving SEIKO's official guarantee.In short, I would buy this beauty again. To the ones looking for a classic looking stylish elegant watch, this piece of art is strongly recommended.Very solid build qualty except that "made in china" band that disappointed me a little bit. This is the nuts! Great watch!!!
I have always admired this watch. It has been around for decades now, and for some reason I didn't feel like wearing a watch and didn't buy one of them. Recently I sold an old Rolex, for which I got a cubic buttload of cash, and decided to buy myself a present. This was it. It arrived right on time, and in perfect condition. This is one gorgeous watch. I had thought of buying a similar looking Rolex Datejust, but that would have cost me sixty or eighty times as much as this watch, has a mechanical movement which is not as accurate as quartz, is a bit heavier, and lacks the elegant proportions of this watch. This watch is absolutely perfect for me, even fits me, keeps time to within a second or two a day, and does not keep me in a perpetual state of anxiety about damaging or losing it. Heck, worse comes to worse I just buy another one. I don't see any other watch, at any price, that has such timeless appeal and fantastic value. Great watch, buy one!Update after 6 weeks- Still love this watch, best looking and most comfortable watch I have ever owned. Maybe that's why it has been in the Seiko collection for decades. Recently started comparing its accuracy to the online atomic clock time and was amazed that it has not been off by so much as a second a day. Dead nuts on. Hard to complain about a watch this great at this price.

Most striking watch in my collection. It's a beauty!
I ordered this watch as a Christmas present that my wife wanted me to have. I have a small collection of watches including one "high dollar" 14K gold Rolex, which I bought years ago before I decided I'd rather have a few very nice looking watches that didn't cost a small fortune, and were the SIZE of a wrist watch, 36-39mm. No "wrist-Clocks" for me. Even the Invicta's I own are the older watches, size 37mm. This Seiko is absolutely beautiful! I wanted the watch because it has the look of the two-tone Datejust from Rolex and is even more striking! So far it is keeping excellent time and because it is a quartz movement I don't have to keep it on a watch-winder. I had a local jeweler here in NYC take out a couple of links for $8 bucks and it fits great! This is the first Seiko I've ever owned but it is as pretty as any watch I have in my small collection, including the Rolex! Okay, it's not "gold", just Goldtone, but it looks just as good, and the most important thing to me about owning any watch is .... Do you LIKE the way it LOOKS? Isn't that what attracts anybody to item they want to own? I love it! I would recommend it to anyone as a gift or even to purchase it for yourself. Amazon as always delivered it on time, even a day early and during the holiday! And a great price! Treat yourself and never believe because it is a Seiko, it's not a quality watch. Seiko makes great watches, the Grand Seiko cost over $2000, so if you want to spend a lot of money on a watch, you can spend it on a Seiko. But buy this model and take your lady out for a great evening and still have some bucks left over!

How good the product still looks and how accurate the watch is.
Absolutely love it and will Try to keep for my children. My father had Seiko and i’ve always wanted one. Had this watch for a while and got because I wanted a nice watch that looked nice and wouldn’t hurt financially if i messed it up. However the watch is quite resilient and stays looking great. Have since bought cheaper watches to wear so as to keep this one nice. The main difference is this watch face stays crystal clear. Compared to my Casio and timex (though as I've said i bought cheaper versions of these brands) i hardly every have to wipe or clean any part of the watch and the band has held up wonderfully. So far it is my favorite and hope to get another very soon. The only down side is no warranty info is filled out on the booklet received with the watch. It is so precise and enduring that I doubt it matters and the fact that it uses old technology I'm familiar with makes it the best watch i could suggest at the price. I would like more of a warranty with he more expensive Seikos though.

It keeps excellent time.
It keeps excellent time ... Less than a minute loss in 3 weeks! Looks good. The band was larger than my wrist and so I had to remove 2 links. It has an adjustment feature but it isn't easy to adjust and after I did, it wouldn't latch. No size adjust instructions So, I removed links instead. A very small pin punch is necessary to do this but easy if you have the tools. I bought it for accuracy of time and looks. Fits both categories in excellent manner.

beautiful but it's still a quartz
Beautiful watch. It's a homage to the oyster quartz from you know who. Only problem I have with this watch is that it's too light and the bracelet feels flimsy and rattly. If seiko made an automatic version of this then I would buy it without hesitation. Since it's battery powered and too light I had to return it. Good news is that it is very slim, light and comfortable if you wish for such qualities. Otherwise it's well made and should last a while before the battery runs out, in which case it would probably cost you more to replace the battery than the watch will be worth.

Great quality watch & great size for women
Was a little bit worried it would be too big for me (being a woman) but it’s fantastic. Great size and quality. I also love how it has the Rolex vibes without the Rolex cost!
