I like it.. It really gives me confidence while treating my elderly cardio patients. Previously i m having Litman classic 3 series.

I have gotten used to my adc cardiology 600 series, which I feel has better acoustics overall but comparable to the master cardio, except in price and lifetime warranty, I mean the master cardio is great but not exceptionally better than its closest competition. And the pediatric silicon cuff was not included with mine.

Excellent acoustics. This is black edition 2161, not 2176 btw. The box was damaged a bit, but the inside was intact.

Not good

its a decent products but if you are a lean person it will look quite out of place on your body initially

If you've been in healthcare longer than a week, you already know Littman sets the standard in daily use stethoscopes. This is their premier non-powered, single bell stethoscope. I have been in healthcare as a medic and/or RN for around 12 yrs, working with varied populations in varied environments (everything from peds in the ER, to soldiers on the battlefield, to critically I'll adults in the ICU). For many years I used the Littmann cardio III (now IV) dual bell stethoscope, and it also is a fantastic tool. Around 5 years ago my cardio III disappeared and I decided I wanted to try a single bell, to confirm my theory that I was receiving mild ambient sound pollution from the second bell on my cardio III. I feel that the cardio master confirmed that theory for me. Additionally, in transitioning to a single bell, I have never had difficulty auscultating pediatric patients, nor in distinguishing both high and low frequency sounds. I love this stethoscope and don't see myself buying anything different until and unless Littmann changes their lineup and renders it obsolete.
