Pretty good
One of the categories Amazon asked me to rate this stakes on was "stretch." Thats ridiculous, they do not stretch... they're not designed that way...Anyway, as seen/mentioned a couple times already, the paint has a couple chips. I think they're spraying it on too thick yet I've also seen spots with VERY little paint on them. These minor imperfections don't bother me, I'm going to tear them up anyway, they seem really sturdy. I'm happy with these so far (haven't used them yet).

Anchor Market Style Tent
Bought these to anchor a "Market Style" tent in our back yard that covers our BBQs. I had been using guy ropes and tent stakes to secure it during rain storms. It was a pain to hammer the stakes in the ground then remove them before and after each storm. Saw this item on a TV Garden Program and tried it. It works great. We have had so much rain in Northern Alabama the ground was soft. I used a long screw driver to turn them into the ground. Seconds to install. If the ground is hard, I would use a bucket of water to soften the area or use a hose. The ring lays flat and no chance of hitting them with the mower. I purchased the 8 inch which is long enough for me. In sandy soil or for use at a Beach activity, maybe the 16 inch would be better. I also purchased guy ropes from Amazon.

Sturdy back yard spiral anchors
Had a ping pong table in the back yard that got knocked over in heavy winds. I got this set of anchors and some cinch straps to hold it down. These installed pretty easily aside from the rocky ground where I had to take out a large rock that was in the way of one of the anchors. Had these installed for about a half a year now and we've had even stronger winds since. The anchors held their ground really well and I'm gonna get another set for other wind-prone things.

Great anchors
I use these to hold down our large outdoor trampoline, and to make anchors for my Spartan style spear throw range. The great part is I can leave these in the ground and drive the mower over them without them hitting the blades. I mow pretty high though so check your blade height before you go over these.I've never had one rust, break, or pull out.If you have rocky ground you're going to have a hard time getting them in the ground but if you can get them in, they aren't coming out without screwing back out.

Work AWESOME!
Yes, depending on the soil they can be a bit of a struggle to get into the ground fully, but once in they hold extremely well. I typically use the handle from a hydraulic jack to crank them in.We used 4 of these to hold down a 6 legged 10x20 canopy for an outdoor gathering. During the gathering, a storm came through with outrageous winds. Two people were holding down the additional two legs of the canopy and nearly being lifted off the ground while the other 4 legs held by these anchors held firm.I've been so impressed with them that this order now makes 16 that I've purchased.

Best bet, not too long, but strong
Use these to toe down my backyard gazebo. Had some longer ones but these are perfect size

Ideal for Outdoor Shows
No tripping with this flush tie-down of the canopy/tent. Easy to screw in with a metal rod or large screw driver.

Ground anchors with clips
I liked these anchors but had a little trouble screwing them in the ground but the ground was as hard as a rock. I used them to anchor a small outdoor windmill. I used these with turnbuckles and they worked perfectly......
