I have three different single needle embroidery machines [Husqvarna D1, Pfaff Creative 4.0 and Bernina Artista 730]. Trying to find an embroidery thread that all three like was a chore. I came across this and ordered one cone to test just like I did half a dozen other brands. This one stitched out beautifully on all three of my machines, I ordered the 80 spool kit the next day :) At some point i will order the big cones but this works for now.

Beautiful color embroidery thread. Just wish that the various shades of the same color where identified by name and not only by number so it would make it easy for me to add the colors to my Embrilliance program.

The colors are very pretty, but I have some issues with the thread. The end of the thread is not accessible on some of the spools. I had to get into bright light to see where to cut the thread close to the spool base to turn the thread loose. The end was apparently wrapped around the inside of the spool. Also, the spools are wrapped in the opposite direction of the spools I normally use. I had to turn the spool around and use two different sized end caps to get the thread to stay on the machine spindle and feed correctly. Some of the spools had the ends sticking out from under the spool wrapper that looked like it was slightly melted. The end of that thread was badly frayed. And finally, while I did not test all the colors in this set, the 7 I used on my project did not cut cleanly, and left tiny shards of thread on my black project. Painters tape cleaned it up, but, still I have never had thread leave "scraps" on my projects. I may try some thread wax to see if it will help the thread hold up better. I wanted so much to love this set, but as of now, it's only ok.
