Is this roller soft and squishy or hard plastic?

Hello, I would say these rollers are large. If you have medium to long hair they will work. I believe there is a larger size of roller which I would call jumbo and they are pink. Hope this helps :)

Does hair stick to these JetSet Ez grip curlers, when taking them out, causing a strand or two of hair to beak off.

I find if you roll them loosely the hair will not stick. I like these much better than regular Velcro rollers for that reason. Just don’t wind the hair too tightly on these red ones and take them out gently. The larger size (which is blue) is even easier to take out.
