Good necklace, but some improvements could be made
This necklace is a heart shaped pink tourmaline surrounded with a cubic zirconia halo. I chose the pink tourmaline option as this was the birthstone for October. A different birthstone choice will give you a different heart crystal. The necklace came in a teal coloured drawstring jewellery gift bag.The heart pendant is roughly the size of a 5 pence piece. The pendant is attached to the silver plated chain by a loop that has 6 cubic zirconias on. The chain is roughly 50cm long with a a short, 2/2.5 inch extender chain.The clasp is a lobster clasp, which can be a little tricky to open. However, it wasn't stiff to open first time.You can tell that the necklace isn’t a big name brand worth a lot of money, but the quality is good and it has a lovely shine. If you want a necklace like this and are on a budget then this is the necklace for you.It isn't as lightweight as I would have expected but its not too heavy. I was a little disappointed in the teal gift bag as it seemed to be wearing thin along the bottom stitching. This wouldn't matter if you are keeping for yourself but if its a gift, I would recommend you buying a small jewellery gift box.* I was kindly sent these as a free sample by the company.
