I was in need for a new universal battery to go with an old camcorder I picked up and this one did great, holds power for quite a long time and worth it for the price.

Waste of money. Couldn't get it to work. Somehow it didn't fit. No adjustments could be made

I would have preferred a Lithium Ion version, but this is all that's available. It works. End of story.

Last as long as the 25yr old dead battery. I did several charge/discharge cycles. The best I could get is 5mins of play time. The JVC battery from 2003 last 45mins.

Charger was a piece of junk. This battery works, we will see how it holds up.

Check discharge rate will be long enough
This substitute battery fitted my camera, works and charges from original charger, but has a shorter running time before needing charging again.
