The unit not only supplies saline water in one nose but also removes the saline from within the nasal cavity to fully rinse the sinus area. The nose piece can be rotated in an effort to reverse the flow of saline water. I heat distilled water for 30 seconds in the microwave prior to adding the solution to the supplied saline cartridge. I am always amazed at how much garbage is taken away from the process. I get nice relief for the start of my day. I also use the unit at the end of the day which provides me with nighttime relief so that I can sleep. I think that this is an awesome product and is superior to the other units which only allows for saline to be inserted in only one nostril without the ability to remove the saline. I find it easy to use and I am really satisfied with the purchase.

I bought this for my husband for Christmas on the recommendation of our son. My husband has chronic sinus problems so this was the perfect gift for him! What I didn't plan when I order it was that I would have a severe head cold and sinus issues when Christmas rolled around! My husband very graciously allowed me to use the Navage before he even tried it! I was completely blown away by how well it worked! My son had warned us to make sure we read the instructions and follow them exactly, which I did. I had absolutely no problems with using it. It is so much easier than using a Neti Pot! You can even see how much mucus removed from your sinuses (it doesn't look gross so don't worry!!). I have used it every day for the past 4 days and I do think it has helped me endure this awful cold with much less headache pain. I plan to try some of the hacks to save on the salt pods but even if we have to buy the pods, it is well worth the price to be able to breathe through your nose! This was a great buy! Be sure to read the instructions and keep your head and the Navage unit straight when using. Do not bend over as you do with a Neti Pot. I highly recommend!

Initially I wouldn't buy one for a couple of reasons. Long before Amazon started selling them I considered buying one, but negative reviews regarding customer service and the company refusing to make refunds to customers who didn't like the product discouraged me. Once Amazon started carrying them, I planned to order one, but the direct purchase through Amazon, with the guaranteed free return, disappeared before I made the decision to order. A couple of weeks later, I noticed that I could order direct from Amazon again. I quickly got the order completed. The Navage arrived as scheduled. Fortunately I read the directions carefully and repeatedly. The device is not hard to use, but easy to get it wrong, as well. It worked great for both my wife and myself. One day while I was on e-bay checking on something not available on Amazon, I noticed that the Navage Company sells refurbished devices with everything other than the travel case for only $50.00. I ordered one. It looked and worked just like new. (I think it probably was new. Not a scratch, scuff or any indication of any use at all.) Although we are both very happy with the purchases, the cost of the salt pods was still bothering me. Although we still use the salt pods, there is an easy work-around in multiple U-Tube videos. It seems that the company is trying to force customers to use their salt pods, which make no sense to me, since they would probably sell so many more devices if they were affordable to more people. Another reviewer wrote that his doctor didn't want him to use the device since it is not good to create pressure in the sinus cavities. The doctor's comment to his patient is due to a misunderstanding. The device does NOT create any pressure in the sinus cavities. It works on suction, not pressure. Due to this, it can't force anything into a problem area. Although it doesn't reach all areas of the sinus cavities, due to suction rather than pressure, the areas that it doesn't reach, gradually loosen up with multiple uses and drain and improve with time. My wife and I react differently to the device. If she doesn't keep her tongue pressed into the roof of the mouth, water pours into her mouth. I don't need to keep my tongue against the roof of my mouth. After using the device her nose will drain salt water for a few seconds. My nose may or may not drain more later on during the day. (I keep a paper towel handy in my pocket, just in case.) My wife explained to me that the per capita incidence of Covid-19 is significantly less in Asian countries where the use of a nettie pot is a daily occurrence. She felt that since we are in a business environment that exposes us to Covid-19 numerous times per day, that either using a nettie pot or the Navage would be a great idea. We both prefer the Navage. Also, both devices came with a dozen more salt pods than advertised in the ad.

To whom it my concern I would like to comment on one of the best purchases I have made for myself in a long time. I have always had issues with nasal clogging, itching and allergies. I was always very protective of putting things in my nose to help clear the debris to help me breath. I have heard the commercials many times on the radio but I just could not bring myself to purchase something that would pump water up my nose for I was afraid of having the water go down my lungs. It was not until a friend of mine told me had bought the Navage irrigation system and how it changed his life. I decided to take a chance and purchased one since you offered the 100% money back guarantee. When I got home, I watched the YouTube instructions on setup and usage which was very easy to follow. Of course, the first couple of times I used it I got just a tiny bit of water in my mouth but nothing down my lungs, what a relief. I then mastered it, and nothing now goes in my mouth at all. I was shocked on how much mucus and tiny particles I saw floating in the catch basin. I set it up to enter the right nostril that night and then the left in the morning so I could clean my sinuses both ways. I was amazed on how well I could breath all day, that night I repeated the process and found how incredibly well I slept and was also told I did not snore. I also noticed my nose had not itched all day as it would have if I had not used the Navage, this was always embarrassing touching my nose all day. I do not have to blow my nose as much and being able to breath better is wonderful. One of the best advantages about the Navage is the cleanup when your done using it, it is so simple my 6-year-old grandson can clean it. I wish I would have bought it years ago, knowing my bout with air bourn allergies it would have been so much easier to deal with. It is not every day you find something that works as well as the Navage that does not cost you an arm and a leg these days, thank you for helping me breath again.

My asthma/allergy doctor has been recommending nasal cleansing for a long time. I still can't imagine doing the regular Neti pot. However, I've been very desperate to help alleviate some sinus issues. My sinuses feel congested, nearly clogged near the back of the throat. It causes me to constantly try to clear it, along with a stressful sensation I'm not getting enough air.(which isn't actually the case, it just feels awful). Thus, my desperation and willingness to try this device despite the fear. My hesitation and fear was due to the incorrect notion I would experience an unpleasant sting in my nose. Like the one that happens when you get pool water up your nose. After reading everything, I prepared the system and stood in front of the bathroom mirror. I practiced making the 'nnnng' sound by pushing my tongue slightly up on the top palate, near the back. It finally clicked with me why the person in the commercial looks as if they're they're smiling. The next thing I did was to remind myself to start with a good pressure seal up against the nostrils while pushing the button to start and being prepared to relax the pressure back just a bit once the process starts. It was very fast. I instantly felt much better. Surprisingly, there hasn't really been anything I can see in the tank after running it. But even if it is only removing unseen germs and dust debris, that in itself has made a 100% difference. I reminded myself of each part of the process every time, esp so I don't forget a salt pod or accidentally open and waste one. Now, it is second nature. I'd tell everyone who is afraid that it is painless and actually a refreshing, enjoyable sensation. Don't be afraid! The unit itself comes apart so cleaning is easy. I do take my time and dry it off very well. I got the bundle with the case but most of the time I keep it on the stand and drape a white, cotton flour sack towel over it to keep dust away. This unit is absolutely worth the cost.

Read the instructions carefully, familiarize yourself with the device and it will work perfectly. Getting the nozzle set just right for proper flow is the key. I have suffered with sinus congestion all my life. I have used commercial nasal wash products in the past with mixed results. I highly recommend this product if you have any kind of nasal issue. Do not use straight tap water, used warm distilled water, or boiled water (let it cool down to a comfortable warm temperature). It is well worth it to purchase the 3 x 30 pack of salt pods. This version comes with the storage tray which allows you to disassemble, clean and store it after each use, and yes, use it over the sink.
