For electrical tape, go Scotch. It is worth the premium price. Get a bulk pack to make it affordable. It doesn't have a shelf life. It's always ready to go. I like to have a roll in the tool kit, the shop, the kitchen and the vehicles, upstairs and downstairs. I hate not being able to find a roll of electrical tape when I need it.
