Fogging is the biggest challenge

Among the many (and often more expensive) brands I’ve tried, I find these the most comfortable and reliable. They’re easy to adjust and have just the right amount of width to nicely fit around my eyes without leaking. Also, on the rare occasion I’ve adjusted them when wet, they still nicely vacuum-seal around the eyes – so again, no leaking. A quality product with a sturdy and efficiently-sized case. (I’m an adult male, around 23-inch head-size.) TWO DIY Recommendations 1. I’ve never come across fog-free lenses, so from the very start applied a liquid to these. More specifically, I apply a drop baby shampoo to each lens, then run the goggles under a faucet to clear out the shampoo, then quickly blow-dry the interior lens, and voila! – ready to go. No fogging. The entire process takes about 30 seconds. 2. I swim a half mile each day – 18 laps. Instead of a lap-counter watch -- (tried this, they don’t last long) – I use a 7-day (SMTWTFS) rectangular plastic pill organizer. I open all the days, then place the organizer at the edge of the pool, and at the end of each lap, close a day. When I reach 6 laps I simply open all the days again, swim another lap, then start closing them again one by one. Very simple, allowing me to swim without needing to count.

These work well. You need to take the time to fit them properly. It’s not hard to do that, but if you’re not patient, it will be a bit uncomfortable until you take the time to do it right.

I'm a lap swimmer for fitness, 4-6 days a week so I've used several types of goggles and brands, I was partial to the Speedo Vanquishers, but after 3 broken pairs with no fix, I decided to give these a try. functionally, these Aegend goggles are as advertised. The silicon seal and suction fits nicely around the eyes and stay put throughout the hour plus, lap workouts I'm used to with no leaks or much fogging. The field of vision is pretty wide and unobtrusive so that even when looking down at the pool floor/line, you have a good view of your surroundings with peripheral vision. Useful when you're sharing lanes and have to watch out for oncoming swimmers and lane dividers. I can see this coming in handy in open waters as well for triathletes. I like that the nose bridge is pretty flexible so it fits well on most, as opposed to the more rigid, interchangeable bridges of other brands. The strap seems fairly sturdy so far and although I don't use the clip feature much, I can see it come in handy for swimmers with longer hair or caps. The only real caveat is the is the clarity with these goggles, or lack thereof. Out of the water, visibility is clear and fairly pristine. Once in the water however, there is enough blurriness that I can't make out a coin (quarter) at the bottom of a 4.5 foot deep pool. Fine detail is lacking, which is bothersome, but for the purpose of lap swimming, not necessary. For kids or adults using them recreationally (diving to find objects, focusing on screens for underwater photography, etc) or just if blurriness in general bothers you, these are probably not the best option. If it matters, I do not wear corrective lenses and this has not been an issue with other brands of goggles for me in the past.

We bought these for our 7 year old son who spends much of his summer in the pool diving for sinkers. I can't tell you how many goggles we've purchased only to be disappointed with leaking, popped out lense or broken, tight uncomfortable straps. Money in the trash. Well, look no further! These are the best goggles we've ever come across and my son can wear them for hours with no discomfort. Love that the lenses are tinted for sun protection, the straps are perfect to stay put on your head and they don't leak, like at all! It comes with a case unlike most other goggles, so that's an added bonus. These are perfect for adults and older children. *********** EDIT: We purchased these goggles in 2017 (I reviewed them in 2018) so we've had them for about three years now. Y'all, they still look brand new!!! My son is ten now and these are the ONLY goggles he uses and he swims frequently with them! The case is also still in perfect condition and there is absolutely no wear to be found, even in the tinted area! They have been left floating in the pool and sun many times as well. I was just scrolling through my old reviews and came across this one and just had to edit to show how long they've held up so far! We've always went through goggles like crazy until we purchased these and I am honestly shocked that they've not only lasted this long, but they're like new still! We will definitely stick with this brand when (if? Haha) these ones are needing replaced! Get yourself these comfy, high quality, long lasting goggles and you won't be disappointed! I've saved a ton of money by not having to buy new goggles after a couple of swims!

These are the best swimming goggles I've ever had. No leakage for me. Well fitting. Also like the hard case they come in. You can feel the suction around your eyes when you take them off but no periorbital bruising.
