Not cheap but am loving them. Perhaps these are my forever pans (and without forever chemicals).
I have been looking for a good set for my ceramic top. An important feature is a heavy flat bottom so the heat transfer from burner to pan is good. These have that yet they aren't heavy like cast iron or carbon steel. I've also been wanting to get rid of all of my teflon-type coated pans. But I didn't want to lose the non-stick feature that makes those pans almost indispensable. I have cast iron and carbon steel but have used those less and less on the glasstop stove. Mainly fear I guess - thinking I was going to smash the glass top. And, lets be real, they require another level of care. I've only been using for a couple weeks. I can say that they are awesome. They look great although I wish there was a brushed steel exterior finish. They feel solid. The bottoms are flat and substantial. The inside ...looks... like a teflon coated pan but is instead titanium metal bonded to the aluminum core (with a stainless steel exterior). Super easy to clean so far. I expect that to continue to be the case. They aren't magic, though. I think some less experienced cooks think nonstick means no oil needed. You do need oil. Oil is your cooking friend. Safe up to 600F in your oven. Not many cookwares go that high. I doubt I'll ever use one of these in an oven that hot but it's good to know the materials and build quality can handle that temp. One other big positive for me is the lids. They are solid stainless steel. My 3 year old Calphalon set that I just gifted had glass lids, banded with metal and a bit of, I'm guessing, silicon between the glass and steel. The problem with those, and in my opinion completely disgusting, was that water got between the glass and metal. Doesn't sound like a problem but try this. Warm a pan on the stove with just the lid on. You'll see that water leach out into the pan as it expands. That water is disgusting. Soap and rinse agent from your dishwasher. Starches and oils and salts, etc. from all that you cook. On sale from Amazon for a good deal less than even the Viking site with a 15% off newsletter signup. I'm not sure how often they go on sale so if you're thinking about these, keep your eyes open. Biggest complaint is the 10 piece set doesn't include a larger fry pan (unless you consider a 10" pan large. Even mostly cooking for just two, I find a 12" fry pan is a necessity and one of my most used pieces. Luckily I was able to buy one of those separately, also on sale, and still my final cost was a good amount below the $800 list price.

So far, so good
We have hard water. Boiling water for pasta or simmering water causes rings that are hard to remove on the interior coating of the pots. As far as nonstick and durability, so far these pots and pans are very good, but only time will tell. One other advice, do not let it sit overnight in the sink, Rust spots will form on the stainless steel.

Fantastic and NO KID GLOVES!!
We bought these after I read about them in a culinary magazine and a friend got the trying pan set. My friend tagged about them and now I'm here to confirm that they are great. They are stainless on the outside and titanium on the inside so there's no chemical coating, no PFAs, no plastics, nada. Since titanium is stronger than steel you can use stainless steel, wood, silicone, and any other cooking tools you like. They actually recommend cleaning the interior with SOS pads (wow!). Since we have a having pot rack in no longer have to with about making sure the interior never accidentally touches another pan that could scratch it. Yes I'm still going to take great care of them but I'm no longer on constant pot watch every time I need to hang something up. Cooking: They've been great so far using them on induction, we've got a vintage copper gas stove as well and they're great as long as you use low heat. I take more time cooking and less time rushing but they maintain that non-stick ability very well. They give a good sear like steel or aluminum and we've got zero complaints. Biggest issue is finding them in stock on sale or even I'm stock so we just bought the entire set instead of starting with the 2 pan frying set which was what was originally desired. Now with the full set no more worries. Highly recommended.

Nice quality set, but wish had 10" lid
Ordered a 12" pan before I got this set. I should have gotten the version of that pan that comes with a lid. I didn't think about it, my fault. This set comes with life for all the pots. The lid for the smallest pot fits on the smallest pan. But none of the other lids for the 10" pan. The lid for the 6qt is about half an inch too small. I feel like they should have made the 6qt pot just a smidge wider So the lid would work on the 10" too. I've had other sets that did that. But now, I have a 12" and a 10" without lids. I find the pans to be very good quality. Very heavy duty. I've used metal spatulas in the pan without issue. I also find it odd that the pans are nearly indestructible, yet they don't recommend putting them in dishwasher. I will probably end up eventually ignoring that advice but for now, hand wash only. I might try it with the smallest pan first, because is cheaper to replace. Now, off to try to find quality pan lids that at least somewhat match.
