This product is advertised to work in salt hot tubs, specifically hot spring hot tubs. It DOES NOT WORK. I bought 6 in ahead of time from when I would need to replace them. They look exactly like the ones “fresh” makes but are slightly cheaper. Now it’s time to replace it, and they don’t sit properly in the hot tub and now it’s passed time when I could get a refund. What a scam.

Purchase several. Every single one fit and worked for two days prior to no longer working. First time, I thought perhaps it was an issue with my water; due to the non working cartridge it got so scummy that I drained and refilled it completely. Replaced cartridge; still no dice. I’ve purchased many other “off brand” cartridges from Amazon for my tub and never had an issue. These are significantly cheaper for a reason.

This salt system cartridge has made maintaining our freshwater hot tub so much easier. Installation was simple, and it works seamlessly with our Hot Springs spa. The water stays clean, clear, and well-balanced without the strong chemical smell, which makes soaking much more enjoyable. I really appreciate that the 2-unit set lasts up to 12 months, so there’s less frequent maintenance and worry. It feels gentle on the skin and eyes while still doing an effective job. Overall, this cartridge is reliable, convenient, and a great option for anyone using compatible Highlife, Limelight, or Caldera spas

Products caused an overflow leak in my Hot Springs hot tub ... I've tried 4 different cartridges delivered in the original shipment and the replacement shipment .. our hot tub is only 3 years old and still under warranty but I had to pay $99 for a service technician to come out and confirm that the leak is caused by these cartridges .. he verified the conclusion by installing a Hot Springs cartridge and the leak stopped (photos and videos for documentation)

This stuff is junk!!! Do not use in your salt water hot tub!!! Only will make the salt spike and shut down your system!!!!!

The prints are undersized for Caldera spas, causing the water to go around them and out the overflow line. My pumps went into protection mode with an overnight temperature below freezing. Thankfully the tub did not freeze but I did have to pay for a repair. Should have bought the Freshwater brand right from the start!

If you own a Hot Springs Hot Tub do not buy this item. I bought a 3 pack installed the first one and our hot tub lost all of its water. My dealer said you can only buy original manufacturer parts for a Hot Springs Tub

This filter didn't work and caused my tub to start draining water.
