I received 2 10oz for $17.00 however I normally purchase 36oz for $18.00

It does thicken but there is an after taste
Husband had mouth surgery and needed to thicken his liquid. A little of this was not enough to thicken most liquids to the level he needed (there was a hole in his palate). If he used too much, it left a taste. If you just need a small amount of thickener this will work fine.

Could not dissolve powder in drink. Two containers are too much.

No near as good as Thicken up. Requires more product for the same result

Does not perform anywhere near the value of Nestle's "ThickenUp". "Thick-it" is less than half the price, but we have to use about 7 times as much product to arrive at the same degree of thickness. Which is the purpose of the product. To thicken liquids. Not recommendable. We'll continue to use Nestle's "ThickenUp".
