Rapid defrost big enough for my whole family only takes a couple of hours love it. Very good quality for money the only thing be careful the rubber thing around comes off easy!!!

Defrosting trays are so heavily favored and have become the most widespread thawing method in the kitchen. I recently got one from Maytra Inspirations and I must say that it is a great tray that offers decent size and good defrosting performance, a lot quicker from the other products that I have tried. Sleek design, high quality & value for money! The seller was very prompt in answering all my questions and the item reached me in two days. The product works well! Just wish I didn't have to clean the red thing that wraps around the edge. Triples the cleaning time, I think.

I've seen these defrost trays on TV and have always been skeptical. Perhaps the ones that work, do. Perhaps it is the material the working ones use? Perhaps it is some sort of magic spell? The only thing that is true about the ThawMax Rapid Defrosting Tray is that it is in fact, a tray. It didn't work on larger pieces of frozen meat (e.g. boneless-skinless chicken breast, sirloin steak, etc.) so I tried a frozen strip of two bacon slices along with a single piece that broke off, about 1"x1" and placed it completely flat on the tray along side the frozen strips. After three minutes (I had no expectation of the tiny piece being completely thawed, to be fair) it remained frozen solid from center to edge. After several more minutes I gave up and put it all in the microwave. Given more time, would the chicken, steak or bacon have thawed? Sure. Do I need a tray that is just a tray to achieve what room temperature and time will achieve. Uh, no.

It's faster than just sitting it on the counter but slower than I thought. I was hoping it would defrost a steak in 30 to 45 minutes but it still takes a couple hours, about as fast as if you put it in a plastic bag and defrosted it in a bowl of cold water.

Got this as a birthday present for my husband as he lives to plan and cook all our meals, and buys all the meat/ poultry needed to do so, ofton time freezing some. He was a bit skeptical at first but after trying it a few times, it is his go to to speed thawing of ground beef/ chicken breast's.As others mentioned, it isn't ideal for huge or thick cuts of meat but when cooking for two, it's perfect. I like the red and black color as well, as its easy to find it when needed . It was a win win for all!
