At first it seemed to be kind of heavy but once installed it was the right fit. Works great and is quiet.

Works great so far. Do yourself a favor and get a 2 inch PVC coupling before installation. I was lucky and already had one from a older plumbing project.Install was easy if you are familiar with basic electrical wiring. Other than that, just pop it on the pipe and ensure the check valve is going in the right direction.Unit is relatively quite for a motor. Definitely quieter than my old one. Time will tell how it holds up from normal usage.

The media could not be loaded. Easy to install and initially worked fine. Turned it on last week and heard a pitch change and slight acrid odor. Have written company multiple timesFor warranty service…no reply. I’d suggest gettin your blower from a local pool supply store as they have near similar pricing and you at least will have a warranty that the store will honor. Blower is junk and PuriTech doesn’t honor their warranty.

I was concerned when replacing my Hayward blower but this unit was half the cost. The result was same amount of air and twice as quiet. I’d call that a REAL bargain.

This replaced a much louder / less HP Polaris. I was a little worries about the extra HP this provided however it turns out my old Polaris was underpowered. This is super quiet and works amazing. Very easy to install, only took a few minutes.

because of the configuration of my existing pool equipment it was not feasible to use a post to attach it. I used a hose clamp on the base to keep it from twisting on start up. worked fine

I replaced my old, very noisy, spa blower for my 8 foot outside concrete spa. This unit is so much quieter that I can barely hear it over the filtration pump. All the noise now just comes from the bubbles. The air output is good, although I wish they had an adjustable port to discharge a little air out the side of the blower. For some of my jets, the pressure is a little too much. Overall, I feel this is a big improvement from my 12 year old unit and I would recommend it.

The unit needs a switch to turn on and off that’s not part of the unit. I bought a separate timer device so that I don’t have to cut the unit on and off from the breaker box. Other than that it good.
