I've been using Clinique products forever and I use this lotion as a toner. I didn't realize that even after I washed my face well after using make up remover, there would still be a bit of make up on my face. You'll be shocked. The salicylic acid is great for your skin. This is a product well worth purchasing.

I love this. I tried so many things for stubborn, painful, cystic, hormonal acne. I was feeling so discouraged about it. My mom gave me some of this as part of the three step kit. I quickly realized that this was what made the biggest difference.I used it morning and evening for a while and my acne pretty much disappeared within a couple weeks. Even other people were noticing the improvement.I started having trouble sleeping at night, though, and realized this has caffeine. Now, I only use it in the morning and I use plain 2% salicylic acid (which helps lighten my freckles) and benzoyl peroxide together at night. I have very oily skin, but all this together, used daily, I need to exfoliate a couple times per week (whenever I have dry spots). I use a coarse sugar scrub marketed as a body scrub. I find finer exfoliaters ineffective.Combined with the right vitamins, enough water, sleep, and sunlight, my skin looks great.
