AMAZING
I waited until several weeks after purchasing to leave a review on these so I could give an accurate review on how effective they are and THEY ARE GREAT! I've been trying to teach my cat to use her scratch post for nearly a year to no avail. I tried cat-nip, treats, etc. and none of it worked. I purchased these claw covers in a last ditch effort to keep her from destroying everything in my apartment lol because she is a very mischievous little furball. She cooperated better than I expected when it came time to put them on, and quickly adjusted to wearing them. I see her retract and extend her claws like normal, and she even still "scratches" at the couch just like before. In short, she doesn't even appear to notice she has them on and they don't seem to bother her at all! Her very cute pink "manicure" is just an added bonus. The instructions came with a very helpful tip to give the cat their meal, treats, or favorite food right after you apply the caps to keep them distracted and prevent them from pulling them off while the glue may still be drying, and I'd highly recommend following this strategy! My biggest hangup on ordering these was how long they would stay on. When I researched on Google, it said that the covers would last 2-3 weeks. I wasn't sure if it would be worth the stress of trying to get my fur baby to cooperate in order for me to put them on if they would only last a few short weeks. However, I've been amazed at how long they've lasted. The first one just fell off yesterday and it was FIVE WEEKS to the day. I cannot tell you how thrilled I am with these covers, and I highly recommend!

Works as it should.
The glue that comes with doesn't dry fast enough. Used my own glue. Stayed on from 1-3 weeks.

Difficult to apply
Too hard to apply but it's my first time trying. I guess if you know what you are doing it might be easier

So far, so good.
Our 7-month old cat was getting to where he wanted to climb curtains and scratch on everything. We were prepared to have him declawed, even though we really did not want to. On a hunch my son said we should try these. Here's what we've found:1. You need to also get a clippers and clip the tip of the nail off. Our cat was definitely not thrilled about this, but we got through it. Plan on having help.2. The nail covers are easy to apply. We got the size small and our cat weighs about 8 lb at this time. The covers fit just fine over his nails. Again, it will probably be a 2 person job, but it went quickly.3. We filled the hollow nail caps about 1/3 full. They slipped on easily and the glue hardens fast.4. The cat did try to pull them off, but was unsuccessful. We also distracted him during his first evening wearing them.5. None have fallen off yet, and we're on the third day. He now pays no attention to them at all. He can retract and extend his nails just like before, but they don't damage things now. Also, we only did the front feet. I don't think the back feet need to be done. Here's the important thing:. The undesirable behaviors stopped immediately. I don't know if the cat can sense that it doesn't have the ability to grasp things with its front claws anymore, but for whatever the reason, he has not attempted to scratch furniture or pull the curtains down since we put these on.We know we will have to repeat this as his nails regrow and the caps fall off. Nonetheless, it's a small financial and time sacrifice, and we won't have to declaw him now. Also, the bright colors of the caps make it easy to check if he still has them over all his claws. We were skeptical, but so far these are working great.EDIT - We are finding we need to do about 2-3 caps per week, on average. Some of this is probably due to nail growth and some to them coming off. Our cat is much less interested in trying to take them off as time goes by, so the Cat Acceptance Factor is improving. All in all, we figure we spend about 3-5 minutes per week maintaining these claws on him. We will gladly do this vs. having him de-clawed.

Frustrating Experience with Cat Nail Caps
I recently tried out the Cat Nail Caps, and unfortunately, my experience left much to be desired. While the concept seemed promising, the execution and practicality of these nail caps fell far short of my expectations. One of the primary issues I encountered was the difficulty in applying the nail caps to my cat's nails. The process was supposed to be simple, but in reality, it proved to be a major challenge. The caps were small and fiddly, making it incredibly hard to manipulate them onto my cat's nails accurately. This resulted in a frustrating and time-consuming application process that left both me and my cat feeling stressed.Even when I managed to successfully apply a few nail caps, they didn't stay on for long. It was disheartening to see my cat effortlessly remove them almost immediately after application. This rendered the whole endeavor almost pointless, as the nail caps were unable to fulfill their intended purpose of preventing scratching and protecting furniture and surfaces. The disappointment didn't stop there. Not only were the nail caps difficult to put on and prone to falling off, but my cat also seemed visibly uncomfortable and agitated while wearing them. It was clear that the nail caps were causing discomfort and distress, which made me question the overall welfare of my pet while using them.In conclusion, my experience with Cat Nail Caps was nothing short of frustrating and disappointing. The combination of the challenging application process, the lack of effectiveness, and the apparent discomfort they caused to my cat make me unable to recommend these products to other pet owners. While the idea of protecting furniture and surfaces from scratching is appealing, the reality of using these nail caps was far from practical and beneficial.
